AMPS 261

That's not too bad of a number for all that's going on in Dakota's life right now! Yesterday afternoon when we arrived home, he was going on 24 hours without a shot, bg was only at 334. That even had a bit of lc food in it - he was STARVED when he finally finished all his travels.

His new nickname is 'Doc' which seems to fit him really well. His previous nickname was 'Cody' but one of my boys AND one of my grandson's are both named 'Cody' - that would get confusing! 'Dakota' is too long to say on a regular basis... :-D :-D Almost all our babies have shortened 'Mama' names...

Spike - Bug (shortened from 'Doodle Bug')

Dakota's still not too sure what is going on but he's purring, eating well, cuddling, alert, cleaning, patting his toys and just being his BEAUTIFUL self! He'll figure it all out shortly, I truly don't think this integration is going to take too long - KT is really curious already. When I have a few minutes, I'll finish Dakota's introduction post!

Welcome Home Mr. Dakota aka "Doc" love the Mama name you picked jeez all our furkids here have call names too we have a few that actually go by their actual names but not many :-D

Wow, that seems like a great amps for all the excitement he has endured. Sounds like the integration is going good. Love all your momma names. You sure have a big furr gang. Welcome hom "Doc"

Looks like he's going to hang around in the 200's for a while today. He and KT are just 2 points apart at the same test time. Doc has longer hair on his ears than KT, his tends to soak into the hair quicker...we've done fine but to make it easier, I may trim his ear edge hair a bit shorter. I think I can use the thinner lancets, both ears bleed easily. He's just as easy to test as KT!

Oh this is going to be a WONDERFUL DANCE!

A WONDERFUL day for Sweet Doc Dakota and Mama/Papa beans. We got several tests under our belts, now have 3 shots but we're still figuring out how to dance together with perfect timing. Right now we still step on each other's toes every once in a while... :-D

NICE curve today! Still some stress numbers - the nosiest one is Sassy! That's one of the dogs that think they're cats but still bark and try to play like dogs....but they're 'cats'...just ask them...dey meow funny tho'....
