I’m curious, on her chart… When you have it labeled “fed tsp 6%,” what does that mean? Is that the carb percentage of the wet food you’re feeding her? Just wondering.
I see you’ve been doing a dance with her for a while. And it looks like she gets testy or should I say “non-testy” sometimes.
I started this reply at like 10 AM. The day before a holiday weekend is always so busy with people squeezing stuff in at the last minute.(I’m working from home.)

“fed tsp 6%,” what does that mean?

Cleo is *sometimes* carb sensitive. The 6% refers to carb content on a Metabolizing Energy (ME) basis. I try to give the higher % carb around shot time and/or onset then feed very low carb after her nadir. Its good to keep track to see what works and what doesn't.
She also suffers from "I'm Not in the Mood for that right now itis" which means the obedient human MUST present a different protein, flavor and/or texture This is the other reason I notate the carb %. It can help decipher if the pattern in BG is food influenced and by how much.

Yes Cleo is a long term diabetic. She was diagnosed on 1/3/2022. We had a few (and expensive) missteps early on her diagnosis (the first 6 months) which resulted in starting with lantus, switching to prozinc then a switch back to lantus. But the biggest misstep was not starting here on FDMB. It also took us a LONG time to get her fractious calico attitude to accept testing - about 3 or so months. Most of the time she's cool with it but then she gets in her moods . I've learned to just let it be and try again later because I will get that blood eventually .

So basically, my kitty has a VERY HIGH opinion of herself and very high standards for her humans
