A long long night with her. Nothing was bringing her up fast. Reduced to 7 u. Didn't think the 7.25 was enough since it took so long to get her up. She spit up after getting out of box, maybe to much straining?????? Didn't see anything in box, but found evidence in other box I'm pretty sure is hers.

Working on 2 hrs sleep, even shot 30 minutes late cuz she wasn't interested in eating. I have to get my seedlings in before it starts raining again, it's just so wet to do it. Then maybe I can nap.

Saw fawn stretching this morning. Then hubby says I see baby back under red maple tree, I'm like no it's in the back yard in the grass you didn't cut yet. It couldn't have gotten that far that fast across our driveway and up the slope without mom nearby in 20 minutes time. They stay put until mom comes for them. So there 2 are out there.I

ETA: if I stand on my deck I can see both. One in front yard, One in back yard.

OT: Was reading up on fawn facts. Apparently if twins they are separated for the first few weeks for better chance of survival. Mom stays away but in area and only comes back 2-3 times a day so they can nurse. In about 4 weeks the will all join up. Where they are birthed, will become their normal adult habitat.

What a night you had !!! Good to see Olive is back to normal, hope she's not constipated also!
Hope you have time for seedings before the rain and after that, a long and well deserved nap !!!
Enjoy your Sunday and try to rest! :)

So interesting about fawn, I'm learning with you!

I see Ollie kept you busy last night. I'm glad she finally came up for you. I hope if she's constipated that clears up soon. I hope you can get a nap in today. Cool about the fawns.

She is going. Has about 4" long log each day for last 3 days. I'm wondering if miralax would work better than psyllium husk with the lactulose . Since miralax draws the water out maybe she can pass it better.

Olive was getting some good bg last night. I hope it continues :)

WOW on those numbers last night!:eek::eek:
And still you see a pickle today!

Deer regularly leave their fawns in long grass and go off to graze. We see deer regularly in several of the parks I go to so right now I'm always watching for the babies.

None of them are eating any of the fancy feast that was delivered a couple of days ago. I don't know if it's the food or not. Ollie wouldn't eat her dinner, none of the ff, Proplan duck, beyond quail, weruva chicken, even if I sprinkled VE on it. Shot was 1/2 hr late when she ate a little bit. Was able to get cerenia in her with the little bit she did.

Several years ago a mama dear stashed one of her fawns in the tall grass in our yard and the other in a neighbor's yard. I discovered the one in the tall grass just as I was about to mow! Good thing! No fawns here yet this year.

I hope Olive feels better tomorrow. I just found Fancy Feast Roasted Chicken Feast at Chewy.com. Gus really likes it. It is a fine mince, not a paté, and smells good. I had been looking for it in the stores, but none seemed to carry it. I wanted to try it because Dr. Pierson's list shows a good proportion of protein to fat (most foods have much more fat than protein).

Have a good weekend, Paula, and get some sleep!

Hopefully you won’t have a crazy night tonight too.

You need some sunshine. I’m going to send you some. Let me know when you get it

Thanks for sharing the fawn facts with us!!

I use the roasted turkey when I need to boost or slow down the drop. It works really well for her. She doesn't want it tonight though.
