Well that BG is much better...not green, but close enough and far better than yesterday's AMBG of 123.
Trix was not feeling well at all again last night...ups and downs of her rollercoaster continue. However, she did poop at about 11:00pm, and after that she perked up. Today she is back on track with her happy appy, etc. So maybe she was a bit backed up (with 4 cats, it can be hard to track everyone's poop schedule). I guess I'll increase her Miralax and see what happens...right now she only gets a heaping 1/8tsp BID. Today is also an Adequan day - I'll do that shortly.
I'm also starting to switch her off Wellness. It dawned on me yesterday that all of her issues started about a month after I switched her on to Wellness, which was the beginning of last December. By the end of December, she had backed up anal glands (something she never had before), and her issues have snowballed since. And then I had a flashback to 5 years ago when my vet told me they had noticed an uptick of cats eating Wellness developing urinary issues (I don't know how this slipped my mind, but it did). She was concerned about all forms of Wellness - they even had a male who had blocked while on a 100% wet food diet. I did a quick Google yesterday, too, and found others talking about the same issue. It may be a coincidence, but since there are a few other options for a FD/CKD kitty out there, it can't hurt to take Wellness out of the equation in case it is the problem. Right now I'm transitioning her over to Dave's (and she will still get Sheba), but there are a couple others I will probably try, too.
Time to get moving...prayers to all.....

. I'm not a fan of Wellness ingredients or most others.
