Good Sunday Morning! Nothing new at this end - we made it through a night of shooting our lowest number. Hooray  :RAHCAT . I feel like I'm patting myself on the back a little too much with the rah rah cat but it's so cute. I couldn't resist.

Healing vines to all who need them today. Anne

Hello Anne!

It's fabulous to see all those greens in the SS . Our fur babies are doing such a great job and I think we are allowed to pat ourselves on the back for a while .

Wish you a great day!

Nice shooting! Doesn't it feel great when you shoot those lower numbers and see the curve flatten out into a nice flat green cycle? After doing it with Eddie a few times now (with a few exciting moments tossed in there), I'm absolutely convinced that shooting low numbers with Lantus is the magic that makes Lantus so successful with our kitties.

Have a great day!

another day of looking great, anne! keep it up, pixie!

generally speaking, i agree that shooting low is one key to getting the cat to flatten out. it is so counter-intuitive, but it works. you've also got to get to about the right dose. if a cat has a concurrent condition (pancreatitis, hyperthyroid, infection, high dose condition) it can be harder to get them regulated even with shooting low. Some people do it and the cat still doesn't regulate easily.
