Good Morning LL!!
(ahhhhh.... another perfecto cup of Joe. Thank you Elsa!), and Happy Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista! HEY! There may be hope the newbies... still ROOKIES, but hope I thinks!! This morning they were all waiting in the kitchen with their barista aprons on, and no messin'! Thank goodness Rusty showed up yesterday again and showed Lola and Bug how to respect Kitchen tools. I thinks it worked! We is good to go, though I seem to be missing alot of ice cream stuff, and they boths got cream marks on their whiskers  ;-) .... so. well. anyways. onwards! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. and for MochaMannie's mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. AND a dollop of cimmamum and mint swirl ice cream .... YUM! Mannie made such good things! I am so glad I found his recipe book..... I wonder why he never added ice cream.... it is mega good....
Yesterday was another awesome day for Nicholas and The furry three musketeers: Elsa, Lola and Bug. He just loves these kitties, and they him. He must have played chase with them both (not so much Elsa - no surprise there) for close to an hour before we left for the pool. Alot of ball tossing, and nanner tossing, and just plain fun. I find it interesting that neither of the newbies will lay a claw on that kid. He has such a way with them. One of you beans named Nicholas the cat whisperer. I think you are right. All three of the kitties shared dinner time last night, breffis this AM. I just love this. They haven't been here a week yet, and already it is as if they have been here their whole life. What a joy. Here's the Picassa link to a set of photo I took yesterday morning: Nicholas and the three Furry Musketeers
Yesterday morning was swim day in the pool, and an afternoon on the pool trails. The energizer FISH was just that : a fish! We have this new "toss" game we do in the big pool. The water there is about 4' deep so I can hoist him up some, then he puts his feet on my chest while I hold him with my hands under his armpits, and I can then toss him high enough that he enters with water with quite the splash.   He calls it "looking for bubbles way up there", meaning the ceiling is the launch and the bottom of the pool makes TONS of bubbles when he enters, somehow there is logic in that name. It is really great fun, but I betcha my arms feel that one in the morning.  He has also learned to float on his back on is own - mega cool! We also hiked the trail at the pool too, after his lunch. One busy little boy, who, like always didn't see the need for a nap after all that. He may not have, but his grammie sure did.  Silly boy.... he crashed as he's walking up the stairs to his bed. I had to carry him that last few feet.
Here's the Picassa link to the videos and the photos. They are as the other albums, perhaps a bit repetitive, but indicative of a really good day: On the trail..., and Swimming!
Have a great day everyone! It will be a catch up day here for me, all the things I can't get to when Nicholas is here. So.... shopping, laundry, cleaning, errands, yard work (well maybe not that).... I hope the weather will be semi-decent so I can get out for a short local hike. Paws crossed!
And kitties? THINK BLUE! THINK GREEN!
