5/25 DAVIDSON DENTAL UPDATE

Still going well, I've updated Davidson's SS to show the BG tests since surgery.........other then the morning after when Mr, Blue showed up he's been in the GREEN :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: ..........I'm sure the meds are causing Davidson to be a bit more relaxed as giving him .6ml twice daily and it's the Bupro..........(whatever that was - too lazy to go look)and it's like morphine..............Eating very well, hasn't puked anything up, not as active as he was but I think that's the meds and AB's calming him down, not to mention a bit holes stitched up in his mouth that I am sure is a bit tender. When I give the pain relief it doesn't take long for Davidson's eyes to glaze over, he's on cloud 9.............haha.

However, he's doing GREAT, doesn't show any discomfort and the most important thing is he did not have any high BG's levels from any of the stress he encountered............could have been far worse as we all know and at least he's still in remission and it's been 38 days OTJ..............

Thanks and will continue to update, tomorrow is his last day on the pain killers (liquid type squirted into his mouth) and another few days on AB's then he should be back to wrestling with Harley.......

Good to hear he's doing so well, Shawna!!

We just call it Bupe most of the time, so we know what drug you're talking about. It's good stuff and works well! China had that same "glazed over" look when she was on it after her extractions

If he still seems to be in pain, don't be afraid to ask for more! We got 7 days worth (which China didn't end up needing for that long, but I was happy to have them)

Feel better soon Davidson! And slow it down next time!

Ahh, poor Davidson! Kitties are not usually that klutzy, but I used to have one that was, too! I'm glad he's recovering, and his BGs look great.
