Hi, I have been posting in the "newbie" forum, but thought I would start a thread here, too. If you look for Glargine This Friday in the main forum, you can find more information about Jinglebells.

Right now, just trying to figure out her curve on her crazy eating schedule and her very relaxed insulin schedule.

Values today = 277 @ +4 [shot 1/2 hour after eating]...but she eats all the time in between due to possible EPI complications

We've decided to prick again at +6 to see what we are dealing with for a possible low.

Hope I am in the right forum...Jingles is only getting .5 once per day to start with...previous near death issues on PZI (two times)

Okay...Update...

In 2 hours, Jingles went from 277 @ +4 to 193 @ +6.

Hello and Welcome,

There are not a lot of people on the forums right now due to the holidays. Keep up the good work testing so you can gather data to see how the insulin is working.
Just keep track of the data and at some point someone can help you after the holidays to maybe get a spreadsheet set up. If you need any immediate help go over to the Lantus Tight Regulation group as they almost always have people on to help.

Glucose hits its lowest level on Lantus around +5 to +7 hours after the insulin shot. It should start coming back up after that.

Hi, Terri...I've got a spreadsheet going on her. I will have to figure out how to upload for you all to see though. Plan on doing an early morning prick and a late afternoon prick tomorrow. Sigh. :YMSIGH:

We use Google Docs/Drive to share our glucose test data with a View Only link.
Instructions are here.

Additionally, you can upload any spreadsheet from Excel and convert it to the Google format in the process, then share it to get a link which you display in your signature.
