Sorry we've been incommunicado this week. Been thinking of you all often!
Willie is doing great! We went a bit high the past few days because the bean ran out of LC food and gave Willie some Grammy's Pot Pie yesterday. His numbers have been great and he's been spending lots of time on the patio. Managed to catch a video of he and his little friend Michelle that I hope to get uploaded tonight!
While Willie has been chilling, the bean has been in full-on stress mode. Looks like we're closing a week from tomorrow. :shock: Our original closing date was set for June 17th, and while I wanted it bumped up earlier in June, I didn't realize they'd get things ready that fast, so I've been scrambling to get all the paperwork completed. Inspection went well on Friday, we're doing the last little bit of negotiation right now. I had a really bad migraine/tension headache all weekend, but managed to get out and play some softball and did a lot of idea shopping for little things for the house. Now I just need to start packing!! I've been extra swamped at work as well... of course. The good news is, if all goes as planned, I'll have a full month to move, so that will lower my stress level dramatically. With the first falling right after memorial day, I'm not even going to try getting movers for the first weekend in June. Thinking the 10th will be the day we get the furniture moved in. Just very anxious to get into our new home and have life get back to normal. With yard time in his future, Willie will be heading to the vet for a check-up. Also will need to start a flea treatment, which is something we haven't had to deal with for several years. Do you guys have any recommendations?
Saying special prayers to all of our midwestern neighbors affected by this week's severe storms... from those affected in Oklahoma today to our Missouri neighbors in Joplin, and our soon-to-be Kansas neighbors in Reading.
