Yep, that beautiful 67 is sans juice....amazing. Go, Mr P!

Trix is feeling awesome this morning :-D ! I mentioned it in yesterday's condo last night...the other day I wasn't sure if she needed cerenia or a higher dose of pepcid or what, because she was seeming a bit off and she had a couple spit up incidents. I think it's fluids that she needs, though, not the meds. We were attempting to switch to every other day, but shortly after doing fluids last night, she really perked up a lot. So, I guess we'll stick with daily fluids, at least for the most part. She doesn't love fluids at all these days...when we first started (it's been nearly two months now!), she just hung out like the model patient (I think she watched how cool Gussie was), but now she is all kinds of feisty and it really takes both DH and I to keep her distracted in order to get through the entire 100mls.

Of course I had to hold the plate for her, but so far her first two installments of breffis have been impressive by today's standards. Of course, since I'm an Italian MamaBean, I'm always going to try and shove more fuds into her....Mangia, TrixieCat, mangia!!

I think she must have pooped by now, and either she has decided to start burying her poops or one of the other kitties have buried it for her. She seems to feel too good to have not pooped in days. But, I'm keeping her on the maitenance dose of miralax for now, just in case, until I have "solid evidence" :lol: !

She's currently on snuggle overload, pinning me down here at the computer (the computer chair is a Trixie Magnet)...but, unfortunately, I have to get ready for work shortly :sad: . I miss having long holiday weekends, but I guess that's the trade off for being self-employed.

Woohoo!! :mrgreen: That is an awesome 67 and happy appy and snuggles! :-D :-D I'm glad she continues to improve. Should Detective Poo come over for a stakeout? :lol: :lol:

I'm glad Trixie is feeling so good this morning. How nice on the snuggles. I hope you see that poo soon so you'll know for sure.

What an AWESOME :cool: :cool: :cool: WCR. Woo HOO!, and go Trixie. I think you have your girl back. A far as the fuds go, she may have just decided that she likes the elevated held plate, elevated position, it may just feel good to her.

The plan for the fluids seems like a good one. Worth a shot, it maybe it is all she needs. Perhaps the meds just don't "agree" with her, or she really doesn't need them. I just remember how things changed for Mannie once he got over his p'titis. He just liked things done differently, so that is what we went with. it is so cool to read that trixie is being Trixie.

Another great report. I LOVE reading that she is feeling "awesome"! :-D

I understand the frustration and uncertainty about the poo. Cinco doesn't bury his either, so it makes it easy to see when he's gone. HOWEVER, Harvey does not like uncovered stuff in the lb, so if he gets there first, he will bury it! :roll: The first thing I do every morning when I come down is check the downstairs lbs for a Cinco deposit. (Harvey usually sleeps upstairs and comes down with me). Of course, it helps that Cinco often announces that he's made a deposit! :lol:

Amy, what great news about Trixie! I'm so glad she is feeling better and that it seems to be fluids that she needs over meds. Everyone needs to say hydrated! The whole fluid thing is very frustrating -- Simon will stay very still as long as I am feeding him treats, but the minute I stop, he squirms all over the place. I love it when the needle pops out and sprays everywhere! :shock:

Still green this evening :mrgreen: ! She seems to feel pretty good, although sometimes she is hard to read and MamaBean tries to read too much into every little nuance :roll: ...MamaBean needs to get a grip!

We had an interesting gelcap experience tonight: she managed to split it open and spit out half of it with her amlodipine. From What I could tell, the pepcid and benazepril went down and fortunately she did not seem to taste any of the pills. DH and I both did a thorough search of the area and did not find any other pills or the second half of the gelcap, so it must have gone down. Unfortunately, I had to whip up another gelcap to get the amlodipine down. I still need to refine my technique but fortunately she's a trooper.

She was feisty again for fluids....still a two person operation. This just may be how it is for us now.

I had to work today, but DH reported that she was extremely snuggly...as soon as either of us sit in the computer chair, she appears out of nowhere for lap time. Such a cutie!

It was a long day at work...I'll try to catch some condos after dinner, but I apologize if I inadvertently crash before doing so...no matter what, my entire LL family is always in my prayers!

Bummer on the gelcap... it is so great that she doesn't fight you on it all. Now that feisty-ness for the fluids... aiyeee, huh?
