Good afternoon,

Yesterday's Condo:

Yesterday's SS:
AMPS 407 +3 398 +6.75 304 +9.75 231 +11 218
PMPS 221 +1 180 +1.5 168 +2.5 143 +7.5 101 +8 269 +11 354

Rocky had a pretty good blue surf overnight last night although I might have feed him too many carbs when I saw his BG coming down after the evening shot. I didn't want him surfing green numbers and then possibly diving to below 50. I don't think I have any control over this but at least I am making an effort.

I fed him at AMPS +3 so perhaps his BG will stay elevated into the pink numbers by his PM shot time. I am wondering if that happens, if he is still in pink numbers, can I give him his shot 1 hour early, so at 9:30pm instead of at 10:30pm, to possibly break the bounce? I know Julie said it was Ok to do when I was very first trying get him back on schedule for a 9am to 9pm shoot times. Is it still Ok to do now?

Re: 5/24 Rocky PMPS 345

Sorry we missed your question but for where he was, yes, you could have shot an hour early.

When we were new to this, we overcarbbed Gracie so many times! We still do occasionally. Things can change and so you have to be flexible and just learn from it for the next time. It's also hard when they are coming down at night and all you want to do is sleep. We do sometimes give her higher carbs at night when she is running lower so we can rest.

Thanks Marje, I'm kinda glad I didn't do that now, shoot one hour early, as he went to a blue number at 2:15am. I've already fed him 7 and 1/5 ounces of food, so it's not likely I'd be able to help prop his BG up if I had to. Guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens now.
