well he snarfed those pill pockets down like they were the best thing in the world! :lol: we're off to a usual start today, bubbles in the pen, happy kitters, breakfast in progress. there's likely to be a bath and a few seconds of kitty wrestling in the near future. my crystal ball says that anya will be the provoker, punkin will be the victor with anya running away. cats are so predictable!

i'm meeting with my new boss today - so it's the first official day of my new job. fortunately it's not til 2 so i have plenty of time to watch punkin before then.

Good Morning Julie and Punkin. Loved the video. Punkin is so sweet to wash Anya. Good luck with the new job. I'm sure you'll do great. First days have a tendency to leave a bean exhausted, so enjoy the AM. Nice number for AMPS.

Well, well, well... looks like our boys have a conspiracy going. Identical numbers, hmmmm. I can't wait to see what each do, how they vary as the day goes on.

Nice to see that the routine doesn't vary and that all is stable in your household, even the bubbles.

I love PUnkin and Anya stories!!! I hope the first day went well.....are you going to be working full time? How did you like your new boss? Any word yet on Punkin's tests???

they run the tests on wednesdays, so i'm thinking gus and punkin will both have their tests run tomorrow. i suppose we'll hear at the end of the week.

new boss is great - couldn't be more different than the last one. she's an MD/counselor/teacher and i'm going to be setting up her lectures/workshops. i took one of her classes last year and when she mentioned in her newsletter that she was looking for someone to do the logistics end, i told her i was interested. anyway, she's interested in having me do some teaching too, which i would love. i have thought about teaching some classes independently, but haven't done that before and was thinking this would get me a bit of a dry run in how to do it all.

no, won't be full-time - i don't know how much time i'll spend on it but mostly it will be working from home.

back to the cat - i'm hoping the lantus vial is in by tomorrow and i'm going to switch over. if his numbers don't change then i may use up the pen, but i can't help but be suspicious of the pen weirdities and the high numbers as being connected. i am unconvinced that this pen is ok.

yes, barb, it's the duck and pea pill pockets. the funny thing is that he wouldn't eat them for the first 18 or so days, then he practically pulled it out of my hand and now i'm just tossing the wrapped pills on the floor and he's snarfing them up!

LOVED the video!! that is just too great. Mannie would be so proud on the nanner lovin' - it is exactly what he does too. Thanks for letting me know - I did miss it yesterday.
