Morning LL! Moonie is better today with the wobbles, no sign of it, but is shaking her head a lot & holding her ears a little down...She ate a little breffis, but now will eat only chicken, so I cooked some for her--
She seems uncomfortable & I dont know the side effects of the Baytril for her inner ear infect. if that is what this is... It is just so upsetting to see them feeling bad--Claudia I take my hat off to you for the strength with Rocket & all others with ailments..guess we keep each other strong here!!

She is flicking her ears a lot, guess that's from the dredging they did in her ears!! She never had that..

Happy News!! DA does not have to have surgery, everything is working & now maybe she can recuperate!! Thanks for the MIracle of LL prayers!!

PLEASE GIVE ME ANY INFO ON BAYTRIL & SIDE EFFECTS AS SHE HAS NEVER BEEN ON IT...SHE DOESNT LOOK HAPPY AT ALL & IS EATING CHICKEN, SOME LC EARLY THIS AM, BUT THAT'S IT--No poo so far,
Hope she will feel better maybe tonite or tomorrow--
Trying not to go to work for very long today!! Maybe go for couple of hours... see what I can do.

Thanks for the update, Roni. I'm glad Moonie is doing better and hope the appy picks up. How wonderful that DA is doing better and doesn't need surgery! Hugs!

I'm so happy to hear moonie is feeling better! Now just to get her 100%!! What wonderful news for your DA! I'll continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!

Great news about your Aunt, Roni! I'm glad Moonie is feeling better too. Racci took Baytril before with no side effects. I alway google new drugs before using. Baytril is a pretty good one.

Moonie ate :mrgreen: -bought a can of chopped grill which she hasnt had in a long while, & she ate about 1/3 can!! I am happy for that--Thanks to Sienne for that inbfo, she's getting 22,7mg baytril..
Seems to be not shaking her head so much, but she is very tired, but wont go to sleep...
You know how abs make us feel!!
Going to work about 2..DH will be home at 4:20 so she will only be alone for a little while..
Cant be helped--Hope she settles down & feels better--Thanks for all the help!

just saw your post from yesterday - sending you lots of love and good wishes. punkin hated the taste of the baytril.

looking at what sienne posted about the dosage, when you say 22.7mg dose, that seems like it might be on the high end. do you know how many kilos moonie weighs? there's a conversion chart link in the "new to the group" sticky so you could check it out.

I'm glad Moonie's eating so well. She sounds like she'll be fine in a few days. Her nmbers are great too. I;ll talk to you later. Going outside for a while and try to get some sun while it lasts, which won't be long. :lol:

(((Roni))) was waiting for a condo but had to leave and now just got home. I am so glad to hear Moonie is doing better, and you've gotten some help from Sienne and Julie on Baytril. So glad your DA does not need surgery and sending vines for her recovery. Feel better and healing vines and prayers for sweet Moonie.

Roni, so glad Moonie is feeling a little better. I hope the Baytril does the job and Moonie is back to 100%. Good that your DA didn't need surgery, and is doing well.

Julie, she must mean 2.27 mg. I remember Racci took 2.2something mil. Racci liked the taste. :mrgreen:

I'm glad to see that Moonie is doing better. That's great your DA didn't need the surgery. I'll be praying for healing for both of them.

DH was home when I got home so she was only alone ofr a few hrs...Didnt eat much while I was gone, ate maybe a 1/2-3/4 can of cat food & some chicken & like 4 temptations---She usually eats when we leave, but not today.
She is not flipping her ears around, but has that " I Hate You for Giving me this crappus " look & her eyes are often at half mast! But she is walking much better(Thanks Lordy)
Tonite she ate 5 licks of food, so I gave her some mc mixed with water like a gravy, & she ate that right up..
Hope she feels better tomorrow..Thank you all for the Support & Love--Thanks Sienne for the article it was accurate..Will be checking her again soon
BTW need strips-hope they wont be delayed due to memorial day!!!-OY!!! nailbite_smile

Well, I just woke up in front of the TV & it was her +6!!!
She ate 1/2can of mc & maybe a bit of lc, but She seems so much better!!!! cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon party_cat party_cat party_cat
Almost her regular self late tonite!! Thank you!!
And my DA had the tubes taken out of her & is almost back to herself(antijinx)
My 2 most imortant beings besides DH & both sick at the same time--devastating!
But Life is good!--I am so thankful !
'Of course I have a nervous rash all over by now, and need to have a BIG Peach Martini this weekend!
Make that 2!!

So happy for you Roni; DA getting better & Moonie helping herself to food while you're away. You take care, must have been extremely stressful! With that 161 at +6, you can relax a bit for the night.

Roni, I just couldn't go to bed until I checked in on Moonie. Just the news I wanted to hear. Thank goodness, I was so worried.

And I hope your DA continues to recover also.

You will have a good nights sleep tonight, :-D I can imagine, especially after those TWO Peach Martinis
 
I'm so glad to hear both Moonie and your DA are doing so much better. I will keep praying for a complete recovery for both.
