Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (I hope Elsa has the ~O) pot full and hot! More DGS fuel needed!), and Happy Furday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista! HEY! There may be hope the newbies... still ROOKIES, but hope I thinks!! Thank goodness Rusty showed up yesterday again and showed Lola and Bug how to respect Kitchen tools. They did ok yesterday. only one incident late in the evening when Bug had to demonstrate to Lola how Ollie does the kitchen slide on sponges mega fast. He kept crashing into the canisters and knocking all on the floor. Lola was cheering him on. uh Ollie? you teach them that? I has dishpan paws from all the cleans up.... so. well. anyways. onwards! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espresso, beans from high in the Andes Mountains.... , and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles and white chocolate curls. AND a dollop of cimmamum and chocolate swirl ice cream .... YUM! Mannie made such good things! I am so glad I found his recipe book..... I wonder why he never added ice cream.... it is mega good....

KITTIES!!! I hear it is the FULL MOON tonight! You guys off to celebrate some place special? Mannie so loved those full moon parties. Party on kitties!! fll_moon

What a great day yesterday for Nicholas and I. :-D    Nicholas and I had a great time at the river - we did make it, and the weather did hold for us.From yesterday's post: I took a chance and went to Gold Bar to that section of the river that we go to. Weather was supposed to be partly sunny, with the nasty stuff holding off til 1/2. and that is exactly what it did. We had a blast, no rain. Nice time for him, he got to do all the little boy things that he likes. down and dirty by the time we left. LOL, and as it should be. We stopped in at Gold bar, where there is that small park next to the RR tracks and the river. He so wanted to see a train, so took a chance on that too. no train went through, but he did get to see some RR cars that were parked there. He was content with that. Just as we were leaving the skies opened up big time, a deluge. Sheshhhh - semi hydroplaning on the road out of Gold bar into sultan. what a mess. LOL: he was sound asleep and missed all the fun. So glad it didn't rain like that when we were at the river. Here are the Picassa links for the photos and videos: RR tracks and the Skykomish River, Gold Bar and Skykomish River

Things continue to go well with Nicholas, Lola and Bug. They are a team - the three musketeers! Elsa makes sure all is kept in line, watches from afar. I truly thing she is glad they are here. It's entertainment for her, and she doesn't have to participate if she doesn't want to. She's accepted them now, and I rarely hear any hissing. We do have our moments, but all is good. The girls both slept on the bed together last night: YAY! What a successful integration it all has been. They all get along great, Lola's kitty cold is getting better: less sneezing! The vet called yesterday to check on them, Wow - impressed! That was really nice. :-D

Hvae a great day everyone. I am still on Nicholas duty. We are off to the pool, and then whatever the weather will allow. Paws crossed for some sun shine. :-D I hope to get to condos in the evening.

And kitties? THINK BLUE! THINK GREEN!

Wow - this is terrific to hear!!! I am really hoping we get to the same point ... that Molly will become less bothered and accepts Leo and Mako now and they can do their thing while she's off doing theirs. My three certainly won't become the Three Musketeers, but achieving DEFCON 4 would be wonderful. A nice happy calm DEFCON 5 may well be unachievable, but that's ok. You've shown it can be done!

It sounds like yesterday was a wonderful day, and how nice that the weather decided to let you have so much fun.

Hi Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista, May I please have one of your delightful Double shot espresso, beans from high in the Andes Mountains? Mannie made them so spectacularly, and I am so very happy that you are keeping up the fine tradition!

Good Morning, Guys,

What a great day you and Nicholas had yesterday! Neat pics!! And a great report on the new kitties and their acclimation. So glad that Elsa has accepted them. That's a real plus. She is a discriminating kitty!

Elsa, thank you, kitteh barista, for the double shots this morning and for the 10 hour energy (much needed, since I have to clean house to day to get ready for my sister's visit).

Have a fun pool day today. Catch up with you later,

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hey Elsa, my calendar says the Full Flower Moon is tomorrow (but very early tomorrow: like just after midnight tonight). In any event, I think we should have the party tomorrow so that we have time to plan. Wanna come over to my house and sit on the radiators (it's COLD here today) and plan? The usual gang will be there. Bring some of Mannie's recipes if you can find them.
Rusty

I'm glad the weather cooperated and you and Nicholas got to get out and have some fun. I love that picture of Nicholas sleeping in the car. He really wore himself out didn't he.

I'm glad the kitties are getting along so well and Lola and Bug and Nicholas are still having so much fun together.

Hi Michelle, what great pics of your adventure yesterday with Nicholas, and wow on the skies opening up! He really loves little Bear, so sweet. So glad the integration is going well. There will always be those moments once in a while and that is normal from just having two here at one time a while ago. That's great that the girls slept together on the bed, big step. Have a great day at the pool and where the spirit leads you two. :-D

Elsa, thank you for my coffee and the Double Espressos and my neighbors are so overwhelmed that you also brought them coffee, thanks from them, Auntie Ann

Hi guys .. so glad that you were able to get out and do some fun stuff with Nicholas before the rains came in .. and how nice that the kitties all seem to be getting along .. funny how some cats only take a few days to come together while others take months .. must all be in their little personalities!

Have a fun day at the pool! WOW on that bridge last night. I thought of you and all your driving! Interesting, Google maps has that segment of I-5 missing already! Bummer on no train yesterday, John would be right there in the disappointment w/ Nicholas.

Congratulations on the introductions! Tess is still being pissy w/ Emma, but Elsa was used to living w/ other cats. I guess I need to try harder to get them together.

Elsa! You lets them in the house???? I stand guard at the door in case the little white thing tries to gets in. Yeah, we needs to plan. Those radiators sound good at Rusty's, it's chilly here too! Did you find all of Mannie's cookbooks? Or just the coffee ones? -- Tess

Morning Michelle. I hope you are off having a good time with Nick, though probably not coming to Bellingham for a while now. I can't imagine that's going to improve traffic any.

Love the pics from yesterday. The broom looks so pretty on the river side, even if it is a weed. The clouds were all so spectacular. And the salmonberries - yummy! I've only managed to snack on the red ones so far, but I think the yellow/orange ones are tastier.

So happy to read the new kitties are starting to show up on the bed. I'd been meaning to ask about it. I hope Elsa is cool with that.

Hi Everyone! happy afternoon!   Nicholas and I have just retired from a morning n the pool, and an afternoon on the pool trails. The energizer FISH was just that : a fish! We hae tis new "toss" gaem we do in the big pool. The water there is about 4' deep so I can hoist him up some, then he puts his feet on my chest while I hold him with my hands under his armpits, and I can then toss him high enough that he enters with water with quite the splash.   He calls it "looking for bubbles way up there", meaning the ceiling is the launch and the bottom of the pool makes TONS of bubbles when he enters, somehow there is logic in that name. It is really great fun, but I betcha my arms feel that one in the morning.  We also hiked the trail at the pool too, after his lunch. One busy little boy, who, like always didn't see the need for a nap after all that. He may not have, but his grammie sure does.  Silly boy.... he crashed as he's walking up the stairs to his bed. I had to carry him that last few feet.

Hi Wendy ~O) ~O) ~O) Oh no on Coming to Bellingham...  It will take forever to repair that section of i5> OMG! it fell into the river! well there are reroutes, but I can only imagine the delays - this will be a lomgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg process. THX on the pics. Oh yes on the broom - it is so pretty by the water like that, adds so much color, and it really such a shame that is it a weed. Nick sure did like those salmonberries - we had to go and hunt for more, so yes: GOOD! -- and oh yes on the new kitties. Bug doesn't yet. the the two girls did. - AND NO FIGHTING!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) OMG on the bridge... we do go that way alot for some of the falls we visit. so.... will be looking for a reroute. I dunno though: traffic will be severely affected. not good to loose a section of a major interstate. DAM!  Seriously? Google maps has that updated already??? wow - impressed! i know on that train thing... he was disappointed too! That was all I heard all the way home: "NO TRAIN!!"  I am pleased with the intros here - they have gotten along so well, but you are right on Elsa - she is used to many cats here. The odd part was when she was a single. I wish you luck with Emma. Eventually they come around. Right Tess?
TESS, yes.... I did.... they are kinda cute.... at last they stay clear of my fuds bowl! and my recipe book, well Mannie's recipe book! My mission today is to find the Full moon ones! I so hope Mannie knows we want them .... maybe they will appear like eh coffee one. I so hope. Mannie? Please? Lubs ya Bro! See ya art Rusty's! Cook book in tow, I hope.... ~~ Elsa

Hi Devon ~O) ~O) ~O) Me too on the fun before the wet stuff. More than happy about that! we had a great time too! In so agree on the kitties - I feel very lucky. I think so too - on the personalities. The new ones are very friendly and seem to like other cats, so that has really helped.

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pics. It is really a beautiful area.Nicholas is very fond of that spot. SO agreed on the integration. Elsa has been very good, and I do expect those moments. I thought so too when I realized the girls were in the bed together. What a huge smile that brought. Very cool indeed! TYHX on today - pool and trail were great!
Auntie Ann - you are so welcome! WOOT on your neighbors! They are mega cool, just liek Mannie said they were. ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) Ih me too on yesterday - we got weather lucky! I love those shots too of him in the car when he crashes - so so cute! one tired little boy.... THX too on the new furkids I am so ahppy this has worked out as well as it has. Very very nice!

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pics, and a big YES on the day. It is a wonderful place to take him - alot of variety and he really enjoys it, alot. I thinks so too on the kitties and their acclimation her. I ma very pleased that Elsa has accepted them as readily as she has - she doesn't always take to strangers, so this is really good.
Auntie Ella - you is so welcome! I voes this job, and think I finally have the how to's all down. IO am glad you think my brews are good. SWEET! OOOO! your sister is coming? I will bring er some too! Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista
Rusty - oh..... oops! mine say today, but it's cool. We celebrate tomorrow! I am coming I lubs the radiators too. I thinks I can find Mannie's' recipes! I will look really hard. maybe he will helps me find them, just like the way he did with the coffee's! ~~ Elsa

Hi Lisa ~O) ~O) ~O) THX - I am so so happy with how this integration has worked out - better than I could have hoped. It really helped that the new new ones liked each other from the start. I think Ann is Right too in that Elsa was used to other kitties, so maybe that made it a bit easier for her. I wish you much luck with Leo and Mako. I bet they will do just fine. LOL on the DEFCON 4 - that made me laugh. I know you will get there. Just go for it,a nd talk to them a lot. I did with mine, and if there was hissing we discussed it, as silly as it sounds, but I did: reassurance for the resident house owner, go slow for the newbies. And yes(!!) on yesterday - it was awesome, we had such a good time!
Auntie Lisa - you gots it! I can bring loots! you want more than one? I know on Manie... I thnks he talks to me in my sleep... I swear I can hear his voice. Weird huh! anyways - on my way! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi, Michelle, I enjoyed the recent sets of pics. I want to be there at the river playing with rocks and sticks. Looks so lovely. What a great adventure for Nicholas ~ looks like Bear also enjoyed the trip  !

I hope you guys are having a good evening!
Scritches to your 3 kitties!

Hi Michelle,
Whew! I can tell when I don't get to Loose Lips in the morning. I wonder about you and Nick, Elsa, Bug and Lola all day. Sounds like another day of great fun! whooo hoo. I love Nicholas not needing a nap and then falling asleep before he gets to the nap he doesn't need    Great pictures, especially "the weed". If they put those weeds in a pot, we'd all pay money for them...then they'd be flowers

Elsa, Lil Bit. ... you are The Bomb! I can hear Mannie in the am, saying he loves how you are making his coffees with a little Elsa twist. WHOOO HOOOOO.

Auntie Michelle, my bean says i should know better than to sponge surf on the icecream in the kitchen... sorry... it was tooooo fun...I showed my bean how it was fun in her kitchen...she's having an odd attack right now... spinning around, breathing funny. I guess i better surf my board instead???

Hey Elsa, Whoooops... no more surfin on the product for me. I think i'm gonna be cleaning in my beans kitchen as soon as she quits spinning around. I'll meet you guys at Rusty's for the planning party. Full moon parties are tooo much fun. .. oliver- former sponge surfer

Hi Josie - THX on the pics! I cannot tell you how fun these river days truly are. We can spend hours just tossing rocks and throwing sticks and carving names in the sand.
