5/24 Doodle ~ 1ps = 288 (2ps=170 3ps= 355, & bloated )

He was yellow most of the day yesterday as well... and I'm not fond of yellow. This is the highest he's been in quite a long time.
I 've given him pepcid just in case this is a pain induced string of numbers but I also suspect our insulin (lev) is toast.
This is day 40 and we never get that long, so we start a new pen at the next shot.

He's a love bug today - begging for pets and scritches... and getting as much as he wants! :-D

I was going to say that number is not very Doodlesque. I hope it's just a matter of toasty insulin 'cause Doodle looks much better in blue and green.

- his appy is down today, he hasn't eaten since last night around midnight.
I'm gonna have to break out the temptation sprinkles.

Good luck with the new cartridge - I hope it gets Doodle's numbers down. Sending hungry appetite vines to Doodle, too.

I have to break out the treats to add to food quite often. Sometimes they just need a little extra flavor.

ot on Lost. I did like the happy ending where everyone "lived" and found their love interest. I just feel it was a quick end to the show and didnt answer all the mysteries of the characters or the island that it teased us about for 6 seasons. I feel the faithful fans got cheated.

Hi Michelle and Doodle! Glad to see that Doodle got out of the yellows and into the blues :smile: I hope her appy comes back... Seems to be a trend because Spot has been very picky with his food too.

I'm thinking he's gonna bounce from this.
he's ravenous... so he got some gravy slathered on that food he's been avoiding all day -- I guess now we're both happy.

I was disappointed in the ending of Lost too....after all those years and all those questions...really disappointing end.....IMHO

Oh that's too bad Pat! I'm sorry you were disappointed!
I loved loved loved the LOST Finale!
I thought it was brilliant and approriate. I particularly appreciated the emotional closure... but i've always considered the show to be allegorical in nature so it was very satisfying for me.

I'm glad his appy is back. I hate p-itis, prolly more than the diabetes. It seems like the earlier I give the pepcid, the shorter the attack is... have you found that to be true?
I try to give a dose of pepcid as soon as i suspect. If still vomiting, then I give the antinauseant and bup. If no eating after 24 hrs, I give appy stim.

Do you have a treatment plan? If so,... .care to share?

Hugs to all the furbabies and Brielle!! (is doggy (augh. why can't i remember name? Cotter? no. Abby?) all better? any scars?)

Poor little guy! This is not all bounce.
I gave him Azodyl earlier and within an hour he was rocking back and forth - obviously uncomfortable. :sad:
he's bloated soo badly!
He's just crouched in the litterbox -- I think he's trying to poop and he's constipated... or maybe it's just gas.

How crazy is it that I give him something to help his kidneys and it raises his BG up high enough to not be very helpful to his kidneys? Damn it! :evil:

We don't us Azodyl, so I have no info on it. If it makes Doodle constipated, what about using some miralax? i use it for both kitties, and the pressies in the litterbox are big and beautiful. i started adding it after Cosmo had a few p-itis attacks that seemed to be stress induced from being constipated.
 
uh-oh. i haven't seen much of azodyl and g/i issues on the crf group, but meowzi did and wolfie still does have trouble. you may want to cut back the dose. meowzi had diarrhea on full capsule of azodyl, we had to stop, and then slowly ease her back into it. and cheryl's wolfie still can't take a full capsule, causes him g/i issues too. but i don't think he gets constipation.

I just started giving him azodyl a couple of days ago - today was actually the first day i gave it twice (am and pm ) I didn't know it upset his tummy and I'm not sure if he's actually constipated or it's just gas --- he's VERY bloated!
I did give him some miralax and pepcid about an hour ago and now i'm wondering if maybe I shouldn't have added anything else to his poor little belly.
