5/24 Cedric's BG Curve - day 3 w/o juice

Cedric has had readings between 64 and 90 since Sunday morning, so i elected to do his BG curve today instead of waiting for my next day off (Memorial day). I tested him at home this am then fed him, packed him and his "stuff" up and left for the office. Just took his 2nd reading and he's off snooping around again (I am here by myself right now, but expecting 3 others in the next couple of hours). He has not had insulin since Saturday night, since his numbers were under 100 (per dr's instructions). So I will do my best to up date, have the sheet open on my desktop:

AMBG: 77 ( 6:10am)
+2: 76 (got it on the first try - yay!)
+4: 73 (stray cat interface did not effect!)
+6: 68
+8: 62
 
Aw geez, one of our neighborhood strays is hanging out in front of the chiropractor next door (they feed them - there is a strip of woods/conservation area next to our property (my bossowns the property)) and Cedric was growling away at the stray thru the window. I need to take his BG at 10:15! I'm yelling at him to settle down! :lol: Now they are just sitting there staring at each other! cat(2)_steam
 
if cedric thinks he's a dog, it's probably in his job description that he HAS to growl at that cat! :lol: he's sure looking good! wouldn't it be great if he is one of those cats that can get their blood sugar under control just through diet? you'd be one lucky bean!
 
I was concerned his number would go thru the roof with all the growling & puffy tails, but I let him give hugs to me and he did fine. he's now chowing down on the rest of his breakfast. I'll update the spsh and post #1.

I did do the diet change, but also, a week before he was diagnosed we moved into the townhouse I bought. So he went from 1038 sq ft to 1855 sq ft of space (although in both apt & house i have 1 room closed off for storage). We have stairs, which he isn't fond of, but does go up & down several times a day (litter box is upstairs in the laundry rm). He LOVES to run up and down the hall upstairs, so he is getting some exercise too, more than before.
 
His numbers are coming in great, now if I could just get him to lay down on the floor instead of on my desk.... :lol:
 
Wow! What a difference a diet change can make! Nice job.
