Alex is having a good morning. He is very chilled out because i think he likes the Levemir much more than the Lantus. His numbers have generally been much lower.

He ate a big breffis of Friskies Special Diet with Salmon that he shared with Jackson, all p's are in order and he is taking his after breffis nap.

I guess he's just one of *those* kitties who wants to be a little different, yet not too different...kwim? ;-)

He was 'Mr. Purry Pants' when I gave him his shot just now. He just sat on the kitchen floor for his test and didn't move and was still sitting there after I filled syringe so I sat next to him and shot and he was still purring so I picked him up and we danced and I sang to him(which he actually likes).
Our song is "My Guy" and i can't think of any other living creature that would allow me to sing that to them without leaving the room within 5 seconds :lol:

Thought I'd share an embarrassing moment since the boards are fairly empty right now..lol

:lol: :lol: :lol: I can just see you and Alex dancing around the house and you singing to him. That boy really loves you doesn't he!! I have a little secret to share with you...Spot and I also dance around the house, but we do it to country music, :-D Most times Spot is ok with it, the other kitties, not so much.

I'm so glad that Alex likes the lev!

He does like it..thanks so much :)

Yeah we looooove each other and we can only dance in private...and it has to be THAT song! (I sing it in his ear and his tail slaps against me).

Now Jackson likes me to sing to him also but it's when he's lying down on the rug or if I'm doing something he doesn't like(like cleaning a cyst)..and it has to be either a specific Springsteen song or a special version of "Ramblin' Man' by The Allman Brothers that I made up for him when he was 6 months old... :lol:

(who says we're not nuts)?

nuts...oh no, not us....it's everyone else who's nuts, especially if they don't "get it", lol

He's still bouncing but at least he's low most of the day. He wasn't responding to Lantus anymore.
