Well, it's not been the smoothest or prettiest of trials but we're finally here - Day 14!!! This morning's test was exceptionally nerve-racking
in light of the yucky AMBG yesterday. Fortunately, today Zeke gave us a very nice solid green of 71 
. We're ESTATIC!!!! Way to go Zekey boy!!!
I'm also happy to report that he's gained back a little of yesterday's weight loss (1.5 ounces) and is now 12.13 lbs. Let's hope that trend continues. The diarrhea is still bad. There was a huge liquidy mess in the LB this morning. Gosh, I sure hope that metronidazole starts working its magic.
Thanks again to everyone that provided encouragement and advice on Zeke's condo from yesterday. It really helped to calm me down.
Well, there's a party tonight for Zeke. I had asked Camille to hold off on the celebration until I'd gotten this AMBG and knew for sure that Zeke was ready. Thank goodness he rose to the occasion (by bringing his BG on down).
Zeke: Hey Eddie, I made it!!! My beans can't believe it. Let's go chase lizards and bugs and start making plans to bring some more kitties to the Falls to play with us.
