Thanks ladies for all the continued info. I'm trying to get to where I can post more, but my day job has been pretty busy and I'm working my 2nd job more as well as trying to wrap things up here. I move in 5-6 weeks!!! I entered numbers on Tyler's SS via my mobile but didn't save it!!! so I will update that missing information ASAP.

Re: 5/23 Tyler AMPS 227 +7 323 :/

I hope your Friday is going well, and that Tyler is sliding down from that stinky pinky. Maybe a nice PMPS present of a lower floor tonight? It's hard to squish in posting I'm sure, with all you have going on. I hope you guys have a nice weekend and you get something of a rest in:)

Re: 5/23 Tyler AMPS 227 +7 323 PMPS 395 :(

Running late for work to post! I don't know why he's so high! If it's a bounce, it's a big'un.

Re: 5/23 Tyler AMPS 227 +7 323 PMPS 395 :(

it looks bounce-ish. straight up from amps to pmps and higher than he normally is.

about your post yesterday about lunch testing - i agree that whether or not you can come home at lunch, he really needs food available to him mid-day. It might actually save you money to invest in a timed feeder that would let you be able to work when you were taking time off. If you do, i'd really recommend the http://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-5-Meal-Automatic-Pet-Feeder/dp/B000GEWHNS/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20. It lets you set the times you want it to open - some feeders have preset times, apparently, or at least less flexibility. I got ours at the local PetCo - it did buy me a lot of peace of mind when i went back to work.

You might want to do some of each - sometimes come home and sometimes work through. I'd consider his amps and where he was at his nadir the night before, as well as whether or not you can test in the pm cycle after the next shot - weigh those factors out and make a decision on whether or not you should come home and test. you do need to know how low the dose is getting him one way or another.

I only have 1/2 hr for lunch and I live 3.5 miles from work, so i had time to go home, check punkin and feed him and run back to school. it took the entire 30 minutes, but i did think it was worth it. So . . . ultimately you'll have to decide what you want to do.

Re: 5/23 Tyler+7 323 PMPS 395 NOT HOLDING DOWN FOOD @ VET

Sending prayers for Tyler. Please update when you can.

Re: 5/23 Tyler+7 323 PMPS 395 NOT HOLDING DOWN FOOD @ VET

Vet gave him a shot of Cerenia, and something else that I can't remember. I got no paperwork because he isn't charging me right now. He said to come back next week to pay. I got Tyler back and fed him. He ate and seems to be holding it down. I need to get to work, so I will update later.

Thank you all

Poor Tyler.. did the vet give you any idea of why he might be throwing up? Has Tyler ever had pancreatitis? I hope he is feeling much better tonight and got some good food into him that his stomach said was Ok to stay there.
