Happy Monday!
Tessie is still doing great, except she had an episode of pain yesterday afternoon. She was lying on the ottoman after I tested her at +6 (she was 131). Suddenly she started meowing that deep gutteral meow that is when they're really mad or feel threatened. She tried to shift her position from left side to right, and back, but could get no relief. So, I gave her the 15ml of bupe, and set the timer for 15 minutes and waited (an excrutiatingly long wait), but she settled down and that took care of it the rest of the night. No problems this morning, knock on wood. I am getting ready to go to town for some errands, but worry that it'll happen again while I'm gone. I know I can't be with her 24/7, but it is such a worry. One thing that was different yesterday was that she wasn't laying on her ortho bed when it happened. That bed has really helped her. This was her first "attack" in 3 weeks, since I got the bed.
Anyway, hope everyone out there is having a trouble free Monday. Please think good thoughts for Tessie while her bean is away for a few hours, and I will do the same for all the special kitties here in LL...
