Back to the lagoon last night.
I had to give her some honey to slow the drop and 13 carb to stop her going too low and get a reduction. I was sorry I had to do that as it pushed her back up into blue numbers. Also I wanted to get a bit of sleep!
Even with frequent testing during the drops , she still sometimes gets away from me....:rolleyes:

A bit of a bounce this morning I think, with AMPS 277 but she has been clearing them very quickly the last week or two. She used to have bounces in the 400s so this is a mini bounce for her:cool::joyful:

Sheba's looking much better than just a few weeks ago!

Let's see a nice slide into the lagoon today....China's already there (and getting into trouble)...Maybe you can convince her to come in a bit!

Didn't realise it was 10 days! Hoorah! Now we have to make sure we don't rest on our laurels
 
Sheba seems to be hanging out with China and Cinco in the deep end of the lagoon. Maybe they are using her to practise their rescue techniques? I hope they finish up soon. It's late here and I'm bushed.

I am sure that is exactly where Sheba was today.......in the deep end. She has come ashore now. She said China and Cinco had her pretending to get into difficulties so they could rescue her. She said her arms are very tired from waving "help help". They were asking her if she had seen the Aussie Life Savers in action:eek: and we're looking for tips.
I think she will sleep well tonight. I am not sure what they have planned for tomorrow.:rolleyes:
 
When you look at Sheba's SS it's such an improvement over the last week or so, you are doing a great job Born and seem to have found the magic dose. Have a great weekend.
 
Thanks Suki. It is a combination of the right dose, slowing the drops and therefore the bouncing and stopping her going to low and getting a reduction. It would be easy to get a reduction but I am trying to keep her from going too low and keeping the dose higher.
I am just about to try and get some sleep. I have been up at night with her for almost 2 weeks and it is exhausting. I was just about to have a sleep today when one of my daughters arrived with the family- her electricity had gone out and they all needed showers and something to eat. They ended up staying for the day. Lovely to see them but no sleep.
