Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is chillaxing on the couch after our schmooze. We are about to leave to visit our friend Jean in the nursing home. It may be the last time we see her. It's about an hour's drive. We'll be back in time for Rusty's lunchtime test. Rusty ate some of his breakfast and hopefully will graze on the rest. He's having a mini bounce this morning.

Hi again,

Rusty was at 42(!) when we got home, but he had eaten all of the food left out for him and was fine. He then came upstairs (!) and chillaxed in his little bed in my study (one just like his little bed by the radiator downstairs) all afternoon. I had to go out to get stuff for my sister's visit tomorrow and when I got home, at +9, he was still in that little bed. Right now he's on the couch waiting for us to watch TV with him.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers for Jean. We had a good visit. She is a remarkable woman. This was our last visit. Jean decided that she wanted her friends to remember her as she had been. I hope she will transition soon. It's what she wants.

Wishing you all a good weekend. I'll try to post every day, but we'll be busy with my sister's visit and the paddles and picnic.

I hope that you enjoy your visit with your sister.

I'm sorry to hear your update about Jean, but I admire her for her determination and bravery. She is such a strong woman.
