Yesterday

Hi Everyone,

Rusty had a good night, so good that he woke me up at 4:30 A.M. with purrs and headbutts. We both went back to sleep! He ate most of his nighttime food, but hasn't eaten much of his breakfast. I took it away and served lunch, instead, and he put a pretty good dent in that. In any event, the LagoonMeister is on duty this afternoon!

My sister called this morning not feeling well. She appears to have the 24-hour flu. She may come tomorrow. I hope she makes it, but don't want her to do a weekend when she's not feeling 100%. So we cleaned the house anyway, and now are on our way to the landfill. If we go there today, we won't have to go toward the end of next week, when we get back from camp. If my sister comes tomorrow afternoon we'll just sit around and talk rather than going on a paddle. The big paddle is on Monday.

Hi again,
Thank you all for the vines for my sister. We haven't heard from her yet whether or not she will come tomorrow. I don't expect to hear until tomorrow morning.
Rusty had a good day. We spent some time soaking up the sunshine on the front stoop. He got his first treatment of the season of Frontline Plus. With all the deer and rodents here, he needs the protection from fleas and ticks, even though he doesn't stray much from the immediate vicinnity of the house any more.

Yo Kitties, I'm a short way up on shore this evening, but I'm keeping my eye on all the surfers. And my new deputies, China and Cinco, are around, too. So surf away and don't forget Zeke's OTJ party tonight!
