Were you able to get the new pens? Tomorrow is when you're going to try it out?
i'm going to be gone for most of tomorrow but will look for your post when i get home.

Yes, Julie. I got the pens. Have been watching the video on using the pens to load the syringe! (good video) Have printed the hypo helper pages. Will start with 1.25 U tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. MDT. I expect this to go smoothly and if she drops I know what to do. 'Course, Polly hasn't known what to do throughout this dance so far so we'll see!
The only hitch in the plans will come if my friend's flight is delayed; I'm picking her up at an airport 95 miles away from home. Should be home around 4:30 if all goes well.
Fingers crossed.

glad you liked the video - punkin is the chorus in the background. ;-) :lol: i should've had my husband get him into the picture as well.
sounds great. there may or may not be an immediate reaction. lantus usually onsets in a couple of hours after the shot so i wouldn't expect much before then. but i'd probably get a +1 and +2 just to see where things are going.
