Mooch sends happy smoochies to everyone.

He will fly to IL tomorrow to be with his new mum, Vicky, and can't wait to meet her in person. Vicky was able to "meet" Mooch over Skype video conference and he smooched the phone a few times :-D

Hooray for Mooch and Vicky! Quincy is on the west side of Illinois on the Mississippi River. Where is he flying to?

I didn't realize that you were in central CA. I'm on the central coast near Pismo Beach.

He's flying into St Louis.

I'm in Orangevale just outside Sacramento. I thought I had that in my profile but looks like I don't...
 
Hi everyone!

I can't find Mooch's OTJ video right now, but I just wanted to tell Lisa a HUGE thank you for doing so a good job for Mooch. I hope he will weather the trip OK tomorrow and his BGs will remain well within OTJ territory. I will test him once I get him cleaned up and he eats. He will have a 7 hour trip, not counting the over 2 hours it will take to drive him home. It will be very late so I won't be able to post an update.

Just in case he needs some insulin to get back on track, I will be using Levemir. I will see how he does once he settles in though. Hopefully he will be able to bring his BGs down on his own.

Thanks for the well wishes for Mooch in his new furever home!
