5/23 Misty AMPS 409, +3 319, Pmps dose increase 419

Hi Folks,
I have had long hours at work so I didn’t post for a few days. Her highness is holding higher numbers and is appearing sickly like she did before insulin. I talked to her Vet and she is convinced she will feel better once her numbers return to blue and green. I will be getting her in on Thursday for a check up.
I am wondering if I should try 1/2 can of fancy feast 3% mixed with 1/2 a can of the 8% meow mix. Some how I need to help her.

Hi Linda. I’m sorry she’s not feeling better yet. I agree that will change when her bg becomes more in range. I’m thinking you could increase the insulin and continue the higher carb food. See what Wendy thinks though.

I agree with Elise. The point of the slightly higher carb food was to try to get a bit more insulin in her. See how she does on 0.25 units. Hopefully the higher carb will flatter her out.
