Yesterday found Mannie approaching the pm cycle with a little bounce ruling the roost. :? It was good to see him come back down as soon as he went up. :cool: :razz: :razz: Looks like Mr. Liver wanted to make an appearance and then quietly left the scene. Works for me! :cool: All in all he had a great day. Nice recovery there yesterday Mannie - looking good! cat_pet_icon

I was awakened by a face full of whiskers and a wet nose. It seems that the Nanner King wanted his breffis, and why was I still sleeping. YAY: the backup alarm still works! :cool: His whiskers in the face alarm is so much better than his civvie sisters bellowing alarm. :? What a furry purry kitty this morning: purring for test, purring big time for breffis, purring for shoot. Last night Mannie went MIA for his last test. I looked everywhere for him, under this, under that, in here, in there. Finally found him - asleep on my bed pillow. The message was loud and clear: "bed, now! no more pokies, I am so done with you!" I had to laugh - that test was greeted with several large audible kitty sighs, and once done he disappeared. Yep, back to my bed. :cool: :cool: He had the right idea. :lol: :lol:

Have a great day everyone! I hope to go after Mannie's +3. So far it looks like he is giving me permission. I had hoped for a canyon hike in the eastern part of the state, but that's a 6 hour drive RT, plus hike time.... if he had been mid/high yellow this morning I would have done it... Have decided instead to head north, 2 hour drive (better), and do a coastal hike which will allow me to leave at +3 and be back by his +10. Hooray that the weather has more or less cooperated. :cool: WOOT!:

Kitties!!!!! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired! What a party!! Kitchen krew you guys were so awesome! we were so good too - we didn't eat everything before we could serve it. I think the fuds were good - I kept hearing lots of nom nom nom.... So what's up for today? Anybody wanna go hang-gliding, or beach combing or??? I am ready for anything! Uhhhhh..... maybe just some chillaxin'? I wonder if Rusty needs the bucket brigade..... Let me know... ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle & Mannie, that sounds like a really nice hike for you today, and Mannie said he will cooperate and let you go. I love how Mannie goes to bed first hoping it is the end of the pokies for the day. Enjoy your hike today. I have to tell you those nanners are a real hit! Yesterday I found Maggie asleep on the sofa, and she was using the nanner as a pillow, so cute!

Hey Mannie, count me in for the chillaxin and eating leftover fuds. I'll be waiting, Maggie

Hi Melissa - thanks!! He does seem to be holding steady - so good to go. I KNOW h will be glad to be poke free for the rest of the morning/early afternoon. :-D Always a plus in his book. thanks on the hike - it is one I have wanted to do for a while. I do so hope it is good.

Hi Devon - oh me too - I had hope for mid blues - I know with those that I can be gone for the amount of time this hike will take and he will be OK. Nice to see him do just that and leave the yellows behind. SWEET! affirmative on the whisker rubbing - nice and gentle, yet gets the job done. Go Mannie!

Morning Ann! So true on the bed ting - it is his way of telling me enough is enough and that I should follow suit. It's almost like he knows he's OK for the rest of the night, no need for me to prove it. :cool: :lol: Oh yeah on Maggie and her Nanner! Mannie would be so proud!! He uses his as a pillow all the time.

Very nice!!! He did great last night and another blue cycle headed for today.

I do hope you get your hike in.....I love your commitment to it; I'm sure you are in great shape and being outdoors like that does wonderful things for the spirit.

Beach combing sounds lots of fun Mannie with leftovers like Maggie said!!! Tobes and I are waiting!

hi Marje - Yes, that he did. :-D :-D He probably would have gone green this AM, maybe, but I have intentionally tried to keep him blue. At least then I can get out for the amount of time this hike will take. I've cancelled so many (and yes Mannie that is ok with me), and this one is sorta close, so.... off to go hit the trails while I can. You are so right about the spirit thing - I does me so much good. I can come back refocused, refreshed.

I sure wish I had your get up and go, Michelle!!! Maybe then Weight Watcher's wouldn't be my frenemy!! I'm glad Mannie is cooperating with you so you can get your hike in. He's such a good boy!!

Hi Patty - :lol: :lol: yep - he is good on the cooperation thing - except today I think he over-cooperated. omg. :shock: But it's OK - I got to hike. And he could care less that he is pink. I enjoy it, so it never is a problem to get things moving for this. :razz:

I'm glad to see you got your hike in today and the weather was good.. Mannie had pretty blues most of the day and i'm sure the pink is just a blip like you said..

Hi Squirrel - The hike was really nice - a coastal one, lots of beautiful things to see. And NO RAIN!!! The sun actually made and appearance. :cool: :razz: :razz: And yes on Mannie - I hope so. It should be if he holds to the patterns. I still hate pink.... I was so hoping he was done with pink. guess not! :lol:

Yea on the hike, Michelle. I'll bet it was beautiful. Mannie wanted you to know that he was safe, so he saved his pinks for your return. Good boy!

Hi Ella - no doubt he is telling me: see? - you didn't have to worry, no low numbers while you were gone. :-D and yes on the hike - it was exceptional - rugged coastal up off of the Northwest Passage, one of the islands there. Just extraordinary. Did about 7.5 miles, and had a great time. so so beautiful. and the eagles were flying. :cool: :cool:

MANNIE!!! You know you will end up in blue/green so you don't even need to make a quick trip to the pink floor!!!

Love the Blue Mannie Group....Ann finds the best things.

I am so happy you got out on your hike today and had a gorgeous day, too!!! I'm so envious so enjoy every moment for me and don't even THINK about me being stuck in an office in front of a computer all day :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - yep, at least he was safe while I was gone. I still worry, even after all this time. Now I wish I stayed the extra hour I needed to make one of the lakes. :lol: not like I was needed at home :lol: :lol: :lol: oh well, it was the minor part of the hike, so no big loss. Hike was great, and no complaints!

super that you got to get a hike in today! i loved the little hiking emoticon - too cute. and you got sun? you lucky bean - it didn't rain our whole day, but we did get a brief downpour and i don't think the sun ever showed up.

mannie was just letting you know it was ok that you went so you could really enjoy having gone. if you'd gotten home and he'd been at 50, you'd have been worried about what happened while you were gone. this way, you KNOW he didn't go too low. he's just thoughtful that way! :lol:

Sure wasn't 100% but it did poke out from amongst all those clouds... -- and yes - you are right. as much as I wish he wasn't in the 300's I am relieved that he wasn't too low while I was gone. It is a relief. yep - somehow he always seems to know.
 
:cool: I just went to get Mannie for the last test of the night - and the boy was MIA. :shock: Found him, like last night, on my pillow - in bed, curled up, one eye open as if to say: "no - we are done tonight. sleepus time." what they heck, and why not. So I let him be.

NI NI all - tomorrow we begin again. :-D
