Prayers are with MJ and Linda today on the loss of their brave kitties, Butthead and Emily.

I didn't open a condo yesterday, but Simon stayed in the blues for most of the day until last night when he was green at +4 and +9. He has started off the day with a nice lower blue number and we'll see how the day unfolds.

I am attempting to put a video I took of Simon getting his treats. He likes to beg for his treats so I thought y'all might like to see him in action. I kept the sound on because if you listen hard at the end, you can hear him purring!

Georgia this video absolutely made my day!!!!!!!!! What a darling begging for treats. I could hear him purring through the entire video. I always wanted to get Maverick's purr on video. So glad you got Simon's captured. Give him a belly rub from me :mrgreen:

I am a newbie posting you tube videos, so I'm still trying to figure it out. What I did was once i uploaded the video to you tube, I wrote down the letters following the v= on the link. I then went to my post and hit the youtube button on the line above and put only the numbers after the v= in between the two youtube words. Simon's link was v=lAm2aJcaHTc, so I copied this (without the v=) in between. does that make sense? Sorry I am not good at giving very clear instructions!

Awwww...he is just SOOO cute! His purr was loud and clear...I just love it when they purr while eating!

Simon is so handsome in his white tux. And love his purring.....I became very relaxed just listening to him......

And very nice numbers this morning.

How beautiful he is!! I found myself giggling out loud and DH heard me...and said "What are you laughing about?"
I love how he licked his chops and really savored the treats! How well trained he is....who said you can't train a cat? He is so gorgeous Georgia! So Handsome! Thank you for sharing that with us! Loved it!! :mrgreen:

Simon and the video....ADORABLE!!! What a beautiful kitty, I love the white socks and the purr, oh the purr.
But my favorite is the begging, hahaha! What a great way to start the day. Thank you for cheering us up!

that's too adorable. i could hear him purring throughout too. love your area rug, too! just as a little observation!

pat, you have it backwards. simon has georgia trained that whenever he sits on his haunches and bats his paw, she has learned to give him his treat! she's a smart bean and he's very proud of how well she's done. ;-)

I love the video of Simon on his two feet reaching for the treat - it is priceless and you really captured his sweet personality. The purring was so cute! Really nice cycle today, too! Have a nice Sunday!

i love the video of Simon.....reminds me of when Rocket was young and used to do that whenever i gave him treats....due to his arthritis he can't do that anymore.....Simon has the white socks just like Rocket ;-)

What an adorable video! I love the little white spot under his nose. The purring got the attention of Pinkerton, who is sitting beside me on the desk next to the computer. Thanks so much for keeping us in your prayers.
