Woke to a very wet and windy day here in Sydney. A low pressure system has formed off the coast again, like the one which caused all the damage a few weeks ago. Hopefully it will not progress as that one did. Usually they cause just heavy rain and wind for a few days. We don't need more rain though!

Sheba had good numbers overnight again. She seems well and her usual managing self.
Her appetite is very good and after she has eaten, she takes herself off for the day to my bedroom where she has a special spot, with a pillow especially placed for her, which gets the sun. She only comes down to investigate if she hears any of "her" noises. Have no idea how she knows the different noises but she does.

Thanks Vicki, Carla, Julie, Ella, Chris, Steve, Suki, Wendy and Rose for your support and encouragement. It is all great to receive. And I loved the cat with the rope Chris

I love how Sheba has her own pillow in her special spot to lay in the sun. Her numbers are looking good. I hope your weather doesn't get worse.

Wow! Sheba's looking so much better than she was just a few days ago!

Looks like you finally hit that magic dose that got her attention!!

Sure hope the weather settles down for you guys and you stay safe (although maybe a bit wet)

Hey Sheba! You going to head down to the lagoon later? Hope to see you there! ~China

Wet and windy, sounds like our winters. I hope it doesn't blow Sheba off course on her way to the lagoon.

Sheba - I'z here, da lagoon party is hoppin' but we miss your funny stories.~Neko

Not sure if this is a little bounce or a food spike but at least she is heading in the right direction again. Usually food spikes drop pretty quickly once the insulin kicks in and this is a bit slow.
Maybe she has just been blown a bit off course as Wendy feared would happen with this windy weather we are having here in Sydney.:eek::joyful::joyful:

China and Neko.....I am trying to get to the lagoon but am battling strong winds.......may be a bit late but I will get there......I have lots of funny stories........have you heard the one about the dingo and the....opps .....have to concentrate with this strong wind, will see you soon and tell you then.........Sheba

Hope Sheba manages to get to the lagoon again today Bron, looking good. Sorry to hear it's a bit wet and wild in your part of the world, best stay in bed Sheba until it passes.

Getting there. I fell asleep after lunch, a perfect afternoon to do so....wet, windy and cold. Just woke up and took BSL.

Thanks Carla, Elise, Wendy, Suki, Voula and Chris for looking in on us and for your support.

I'z almost there guys.......hope the pool party is still going........what is to eat, I is very hungry..........Sheba

Don't worry, Sheba. We party around the clock here in L&L Land! Cinco and China have been on duty in the lagoon all night, and they say there is still room for more, but you need to stay close to shore - there has been a shark siting in the deep end!!

I hope the weather calms down, Bron, and you have no damage. I wish you could send some of that rain over here. We could sure use it!

Gasp! A shark....I will stay close to shore........but I have to get there first.......didn't quite make it this morning but will try tonight.....Sheba

I wish we could send you the rain too Tricia. We have had more than enough. The ground is water logged. Living on the coast we get a lot of rain but further inland it is much drier.
