Evening...
posting late today...
yesterday

I had to work today and I've been listing things on ebay trying to make up the $630 loss from that #@%$ chipmunk.
That takes up a lot of time... posting pictures... and measurements .

Anybody feel rich and want a 14k yellow gold cat with ball charm/pendant. :lol: I am catandrhiannon on ebay.

Shadow has had a pretty good day....
a little play... lots of napping by the window...
and she's about to get her evening poke.

oh.. and I'm so glad I came and posted or I would have forgotten , she needs her adequan shot tonite.... better do that now.

I'm still hurting... but I know it will end .... some day....
I really have to wonder what they do to hold you still for that surgery.... they must have had such a clamp on my head/face....for it
to still linger so.
I'm just not brave enough to go watch someone else's video on youtube..... (septoplasty and turbinate reduction if you are brave)

question for other syringes.... not insulin....

the vet gave me some for the adequan shots.... and I had thought they were awful and my dd's boyfriend also thought so tonite... ( the future vet)
He gave her the shot tonite and noticed how dull the needles seemed.... and it took two tries...
Poor Shadow.... :sad: ( last time he did such a good shot on her... she didn't even notice)

So what are good syringes to get for the Adequan shots.
I am so tempted to figure out what dose she gets by trial and use two terumo's instead....
smaller needles... better quality.... unless someone can tell me of a good one for the adequan shots....

Adequan is for arthritis. Shadow has it in her shoulders and elbows.... confirmed by x ray....
I suspect her rear hips might have it too....

My brother's dog has it in his hips real bad, they said not much they could do just cosumine? He can't walk down the stairs. poor dog he is a shelty

Hi Rhiannon, I give my dogs Adequan injections. I get the syringes and needles from my vet, and she only uses Monoject needles. She says they are the best. Also, I use one needle to draw up the Adequan, and then put on a new needle before the injection. Going through the top on the vial can dull the needle slightly. This usually works really well. I use a 23g to draw up the Adequan and a 25g for the injection. Hope that helps!
