Good Morning, Everyone,
Sending lots of vines to Tricia's civvie Sasha. Thinking of Liz, Anne, Zener and Tillie as they evacuate to avoid the wildfire. Stay safe, guys!
Rusty had a good night and woke us up early again with a spurt of energy (after making his deposit in the litterbox). This time he flew down the stairs headlong, like he used to, galloped upstairs again, and catapulted onto the bed meowing loudly. What a great wake-up call! Test and shot went well. Interesting that he has the same AMPS as yesterday. I dropped the meter yesterday, but it seemed to be working fine. Maybe this is just a coincidence. We'll know on the next test. Rusty was hungry for breakfast. I put out Wild Callings rabbit again (he ate it last night for the first time), but he just sniffed at it and walked away. Later I threw it out and put FF T&G in his dish and he ate that happily. I guess I won't try the rabbit again!
We are having rain today. I will be cleaning the house. My sister is arriving on Saturday for the holiday weekend. We will be paddling on Sunday with my sister and whoever else wants to join us, paddling with our whole group on Monday, and after the paddle enjoying the traditional Memorial Day picnic. All of us are very sad that our friend Jean will not be with us this year. She is in the nursing home, on morphine, and very weak. Edward and I plan to visit her tomorrow. Three of our friends are visiting her today. Her family will be with her over the weekend.
Wishing all a good day,
Ella & Rusty
