Good morning LL.

Pixie's AMPS is a little elevated because he was probably munching on his food until test time - I wasn't able to remove his food in the earlier morning hours. Prayers and healing vines to all the people and kitties who need them today. Have a great day, everyone :smile: . Anne

Looks like Pixie earned himself a reduction this morning at +1.75=49. His dose will be reduced to 0.25u starting this evening. I have fed some MC+LC mix and will retest him at +2. Anne

Great catch on the 49, Anne, and congrats on the reducie. It looks like an OTJ trial isn't far away (anti-jinx)! ;-)

Thanks Shelly :-D. I see you are from Arkansas which, before today, I always thought was spelled with a w and not an s. I googled it and found out why it is spelled with an s but pronounced as a w. Amazing, what we learn here on FDMB.

Three things I still find puzzling are the 5ps, dipping into the lagoon(greens??) and I think it's WCR that people are using on their condos. I've looked on the acronym stickie and did not find these particular references.

You can only imagine what I've learned since I moved to Arkansas! My husband was born and raised here and is a true Southern "hick." :lol:

The WCR is the "whole cat report." Since the numbers don't always tell us the whole story (and kitty is more than just the numbers), we like to know about the 5 p's - pooping, peeing, preening, purring, and playing. I couldn't ever complete the 5 p's. Mine was a "PPIGS" report: picky, plotting, inside-outside game, growling, and stalking. Jersey is quite the character! ohmygod_smile

I don't know where the phrase about swimming in the lagoon came from. I'll have to let a long-time member explain the origins of that one. :? ;-)

I'm a fairly long-time member (although there are several who have logged much more time than I have)...I have to admit, though, I don't know the origin of "The Lagoon", either, aside from the obvious fact that it is "green"! I never thought about it before....now I'm curious, too!

you know... most lagoons are considered blue.....

and I've seen it used on fdmb both ways.... blue or green.....
I think it's kinda become the catchword for numbers in the normal range.....

and we all love those greens.

people call it a "blue lagoon" or a "green lagoon." it just means staying in that range for a while.

Pixie - well, what is there to say? Pixie's looking fantastic, anne! This is day 8 of basically non-stop normal numbers. i'm ignoring those 126's since they were just blips. let's call them meter variance and say they were really 120's! ;-)

Pixie, Juno and Zack are all flattening out and moving down the dosing scale very nicely. We love that! :mrgreen:

Thanks Julie, isn't it nice when the kitties do what their supposed to do. I'm really glad Juno and Zack are flattening out.

I wonder if anyone is using an ipad to enter their numbers on the spreadsheet? I jut got an ipad and for some reason, I'm having trouble entering the numbers on the ss. Any advice?

Congratulations on the reduction!

The Lagoon started out as the Green Lagoon, where kitties surfing the green hang out. The kittehs needs a place to surf after all! Then the blue hangout was dubbed the Blue Grotto. or maybe vice versa. I think I'm responsible for the Green Lagoon as Tess used to be impossible to budge from it once she started surfing there. (That's also how Tess became KK came from, Kawabunga Kitty, what I call her when she keeps surfing low greens.)

Hi Ann, well I can certainly see why she's hard to budge once she's surfing in the greens. Looking at her picture, Tess looks very laid back and her attitude says, "You're not going to budge me, lady! I'm too comfy here". She's adorable.

I've used Google Drive on the iPad to upgrade the spreadsheet. They recently "upgraded" it by adding Google Sheets, but that's made it slower. It's worse for us because it defaults to the US sheet and takes forever to load the World sheet. So, you can get the free Google Drive app but see if you can use it without getting Google Sheets too.

Thank-you Wendy for the Ipad information. I am now able to edit my spreadsheet but I have to do it through Google Sheets. Wendy, I hate to bug you but I've been trying to upload my photo of Pixie but the photo is too large. Is there a simple way to upload photos to FDMB? If the answer is too complicated, don't worry about it. Thanks, Anne.
