Good afternoon L/L land and welcome to Lupita Friday in Gracieland.

Our thoughts, prayers, and hearts go out to Rose and DH. Little Zoey was such a fighter and she had the best team in the world supporting her. I know we were all rooting for her and we all have broken hearts today. Fly free, Zoe Zoe.

Congrats to Eddie and Jen on a successful OTJ trial. One more day for Zeke and Laura. Healing vines to Zeke...we hope the liquipoo stops and he gains weight. Vines to all others in need.

When I got back from my golf lesson today, Gracie was up on the bar and practically turned herself inside out and upside down trying to headbutt me. Purr city and I was afraid she was going to somersault off the bar. I said, "what you up to, Missy G?". She looked at me with those lovely large topaz eyes, more purrs, until..........she hears Lupita say, "yes..what are you up to, Missy G?". I was frozen in place by the infamous LBG stink eye..hisssssssssssssss!!!! Dats "Princess Gracie" to you, LUPITA! Hissssssssss. Thankfully, Lupita is a good sport.

After several days of lots of testing and feeding to keep LBG above 50, I shaved the dose a wee bit today. We will see how she does but its not unlike her to run in the 50s on one dose and high blue on 0.05u more. Lil Stinka.

Hey Peg, Carla, and Marilyn!! Great to see you all.

Gracie had an awesome day in flat blue around normal.....until I gave her a partial fur shot. I had the syringe in and just as I was about to press the plunger, the ice maker dumped the ice in the bucket and she, being easily startled like most Scottish Folds, bolted as I pressed. There was about half a dose left in the syringe so gave her that but I smelled it on her fur and she was wet.

Oh well.....that's only the second time she's gotten a fur shot in almost five years and at least she got a little juice this time. I can give her R if she skyrockets. Oh but her depot was doing so well.

Only two fur shots in five years?!! Well, we all knew the Borg queen was not like us mere mortals. I guess that just proves it.

Thanks for our fix of Lupita Fridays. I also think Lupita is under Gracie's spell, as are the rest of us. Why else would she take that abuse, and keep coming back for more?
