? 5/22 Gizzy amps=49 no symptoms, holding shot, ate 1/2 breakfast

I can't give advice but can you get a new test in about 5 minutes (20 minutes after stalling). I think you weren't supposed to feed but I will let the experts advise. Were the AMPS test back to back or were there a few minutes between the 49 and the 83?

Okay, get another test 20 minutes after you got those AMPS numbers and report back as soon as you can. I'm trying to get you some experts to advise.

If the tests were back-to-back, it's possible that the 49 was a bad strip. Did you shoot?
If the 86 was after stalling without food, it's safe to shoot the full dose, if you can monitor.

I think she said she fed 1/2 a meal when she first stalled after the AMPS test.

I didn't shoot. Sorry, no internet in the bathroom where Giz eats. I cannot do TR. It's too stressful. I have 16 cats and 3 geriatric dogs here and zero help. I need to go to SLGS. I'm a rescue and do it alone.

With SLGS, you skip the shot below 90.

Stephanie, you have TR listed in your signature and your spreadsheet. You need to change those to SLGS. Do not feel badly for using SLGS - I do. You did the right thing about not shooting. You certainly have a lot of kitties and droolers to take care of. Bless you for having a rescue. I don't know how you do it all by yourself. I think you are supposed to take a reduction to 2 units tonight. @Bandit's Mom can you comment on this?

Yes. If you are switching to SLGS, Gizzy has earned a reduction this morning and his dose goes down to 2U.

Thank you. I'll change that on my SS. I feel less stress just making that decision.
