Checks ate well. Took pill in cheese, well. Got his sink/tub drinks. Is napping in cube now. I suspect he'll be there most of the day.
I'm sure he'll need bupe today, as it's raining off and on today. If I feel it, then I know he does, as well
His amps could be a result of a drop last night, or pain from weather.
Gonna go give bupe and put warm rice pack, behind his back. He likes to lean against that.

morning Barb ~O) ~O) ~O) grumble on your weather. Sounds the same as ours. Rainy, chilly, just ripe for sore, achy bones. I bet Checks is gonna be one happy kitty when he has his bupe on board and his warm rice pack to lean on. Let's all cuddle up to a nice warm rice pack!
Keep bringing it on down Checkers!
hugs and scritches to you

Sounds like a good day to chillax with a warm rice sack, Checkers. Your mamabean always knows what will help. Now, help her out by sliding down to a lower floor, OK?

Good Morning, Barb,

Yep, the weather is miserable. I feel my sinuses in this murky humidity. The sun is out and that even makes it all the more humid! Oh well, have a good day anyway.

Hugs & scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi guys .. bummer on the higher numbers this morning .. probably a combo of all things .. how sweet of you to put a rice pack next to checkers .. such a good momma .. have a great day!

Re: 5/22 Checkers amps HI +2/498

Ugh on that HI. I hope the bupe and the warm rice sock soothe him.

Checks? You need KTSS? We can all cuddle around, much better than a silly warm sock. We can massage you too, not Tobes though, just a nice gentle knead! -- Tess

Hi Barb. Bummer on Checker's high numbers today. I hope you see some lower numbers as the day progresses. I'm betting he looks forward to the warm rice pack in his bed when his bones are aching.

Hope you get better weather soon. Have a great day.

Hi Barb, hope you guys soon get some nice weather. That's a great idea with the warm rick pack for Checkers. Hope the Bupe has lessened his pain and he feels better. I hope you feel better, too/

Sorry to hear about the rainy weather. I hope both you and Checkers are feeling better and the rain goes away.

We both feel better, thank you :-D

The little bugger was waiting at the back door, when I came in with arms full of bedding from the clothesline, and tried to dart outside. :o
He NEVER does that! I lowered the blankets and pushed him in with them. Oy!
Then he raced down the hallway, with his little hips swaying and tail high. Oh Gawd, how I love that guy!!

So, he is feeling much better, since the sun's been out for hours now.
It's still very windy and weather guy keeps threatening us with thunderstorms.

QUESTION:

When you get up and test, when it's too close to shot time....say after +10.....how do you manage to not feed, when cat is claiming starvation?

Re: 5/22 Checkers pmps 319

How funny on Checkers trying to get out. He must be feeling better. I hope you both are. Rain makes me creaky. Have a great night Barb!

Re: 5/22 Checkers pmps 319

I'm glad to hear you guys are feeling better! It's pretty rare for me to test that close to shot time...but, I can say that I'm almost always a sucker for a starving kitty  ....

Have a great evening!!

Re: 5/22 Checkers pmps 319

Love to hear that Checks is feeling better with hips swaying and tail high. :-D :-D And his numbers are much better too.

I usually do a +9 because I get the same reaction as you for a +10. A +11 is even worse. I toss a few pieces of freeze dried chicken their way then go hide in a room with a closed door (DH goes downstairs to his office) or I go outside in the garden. I avoid them.
