Higher start today after a gorgeous blue/green surf yesterday. I am really glad though that Walter is no longer doing his extreme dives and bounces (anti-jinxes). He seems to be feeling a lot better too when he is not going from one extreme to the next. He spends lots of time on his favorite sunny window perch, is getting along great with his siblings and is eating well.

I have to go to campus in a bit. It's our first new student orientation and I will get to spend the day with 150 excited high school students who will be starting college in the fall. Luckily, there's a long enough lunch break so I can come home and check on Walt... and I don't have a burning desire to eat cafeteria food anyways.

Just came home for lunch and was met by Walter meowing loudly and carrying on. I briefly panicked, thinking he was running low. But it turns out that I didn't leave his favorite window open and that he had a lot to say about the injustice of that. Glad that he knows where his favorite spot is and that he is not afraid to let his bean know.
