Trix is keeping me guessing here with some of her BGs. I get nervous when I see these higher "PS" numbers...I do wonder if we're going to need to start up on the juice again at some point. But then she brings it back down to normal all on her own. I just don't know what to think, but until I feel more secure in her odd new eating habits, I'd love to keep her OFF the juice since I don't know how well I'll be able to steer numbers if need be. And as long as she's bringing herself down to the normal range, I guess we'll continue in the no-juice holding pattern.
I do think she's a little constipated, and maybe that's contributing to the higher numbers. I haven't actually witnessed her poop, but both yesterday and the day before, she did spit up a little foam immediately after hitting the box. Yesterday, I saw her enter the box, but then I didn't watch what she was up to, and now I wish I did. But, I did hear her spitting up a few minutes later, and there was two very small poo nuggets in the box she had just been in. She's never been one for big poops anyway, but these were smaller than usual, so I have a feeling she was working at it so much it jostled her belly. That is a dead give away when Frankie is constipated.
So, I did add some miralax to her daily regimen, at least for now. I actually am mixing it into the water I syringe in her mouth after I pop the gelcap down...double-duty, and I know she's getting all that magical poo powder down!
Aside from that, it's the same here. I think she is SLOWLY starting to eat more bits without me holding the plate, but it sure is a slow forward progress on that. Socially, she is definitely coming out of her shell more...she spent last evening hanging out with us again, so bigger strides towards normalcy are being made there. Tonight is definitely a fluids night, so I hope and pray she won't be feeling extra feisty again!
Time to get ready for work...have a great day, LL!
