Last Tuesday of the school year. dancing_cat dancing_cat

WCR: All Ps in place. Even had a little food pukus. I have a little bouncy kitty today and yesterday. I think she had some really low numbers yesterday while I was at work. Her personality is slightly altered, but hopefully she'll get back to normal soon.

WHR: today's exams are both of my planning periods! Woo-hoo! But I am hungry and no real food here in the house. Ugh!

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Especially all of you who are dealing with wild and crazy weather. Be safe! Blessings!

Come on down to normal Shasta. Ugh on the pukus. I hope she is back at it soon. Have a great day Deborah!

Sorry about the pukus. I hope Shasta is feeling better this evening. Yay on the last Tuesday of the school year.

Hi Phoebe, Melissa, Mary & Carla ~

I don't see any more pukus around the house, so I'm assuming it was just an isolated incident. She seemed hungry after finishing her 1oz, so I fixed her another .40oz and I think that extra added fuds did it. On my way out the door this morning, I left her a little 12% so make sure that her numbers stay in the "mamabean is gone all day and I need to stay in safe zone".

So, about an hour ago, I had just sit down to start working on my computer and Shasta was laying next to me and then trying to crawl on my lap and then laying next to me and then honed in on a VERY LARGE SPIDER ON THE CEILING ABOVE ME!!!! (one of those fast moving, jumpy kind) :o :o :o :o :o Girl's still got the critter censor! I got up and got tangled in the cord of the laptop and by the time I set the laptop down, the spider was no where to be found. Shasta was trying to find it while I grabbed the fly swatter and the oven cleaner. :-D Usually, it's the oven cleaner and a flip flop, but I like the long handle of the fly swatter. I proceeded to knock all of the visors and hats off of my hat rack...no spider there. After I moved all of those so that I didn't step on them if I got antsy pantsy, I saw something move near the dark brown blanket on the back of the couch...I went in for the kill using the swatter. I killed it many times over...and the blanket (plus another that it could have touched) are being washed right now. Good girl, Shasta!

Past all that, it's been a good day. Got some/lots of stuff done at school today, but will not get as much done tomorrow. Oh well. Thank you all for checking in on us today. Hope you are all safe and sound. Sleep well.

Sorry, but your spider situation made me laugh!   Oven cleaner?!? You mean business, Deborah!
Good to know Shasta still has the Insect Instinct! Good job for spotting the spider, girl!

It looks like Shasta is coming down nicely tonight.

I hope you have a good Last Wednesday of the school year tomorrow!

 Oh Josie...I always mean business when it comes to those spiders. Little tiny ones...no big deal; daddy long-legs...deadly spiders, but mouths are too small; fast moving, jumpy spiders...pull out the oven cleaner and stand back! Someone told me a long time ago that oven cleaner acts like acid on spider's bodies. My thought...SOLD! I have two cans...one for inside and one for garage (where I expect to find a few of them...NOT IN MY HOUSE, DANG IT!) Yes, I am still looking over my shoulder...just in case!

Very excited that tomorrow is the last day for students...then to start planning for next year. :YMSIGH:  Hope you and Ripley are having a nice night.

I can imagine you doing all of that.....

Rhiannon - If I thought Shasta would squish it...I would be the one on the top of the door. I hate critters. However, living on my own for so long now, I've learned to deal with them...meaning, I can scream like a little girl and jump around as I freak out searching for the spider and no one else hears or sees me! :-D

Liz - I'm so excited...now, if only I didn't have to end my last day with Men's Chorus!  No, I'm just kidding. They're a fun group. Now, if only I could get Shasta up to eat some more fuds before I go to bed.

Hope you both are doing well today. Sleep well.
