Good morning, LL!
Sending stay-safe vines to Melissa and Lyresa, feel-better and good-appy vines to Marje's Gus and Georgia's Simon, and condolences to Julie for the loss of her sweet Punkin. Hugs to all who need them today.

Ripley is doing much better today. Yesterday was an 'off' day ~ higher numbers (still beautifully low, but higher than I've seen lately), not-so-great appy, and rather lethargic and looked uncomfortable. She seems to experience a day or two like this about once a month or so, and I'll probably never know why exactly; could be her CKD causing an acid tummy (even though she has a couple of Pepcid treats each day) or maybe she ate something outside that didn't quite agree with her... During times like these I so wish she could tell me what's going on.

BUT she's eating today, and actually seemed excited about her fuds. And she's back into her beautiful greens.
Good job, Ripley Girl! Remember, if you're happy, then I'm happy.

I hope everyone has a great day today!

Re: 5/21 Ripley AMPS 88

Morning Josie,
I'm glad today is looking good and the off day has passed. If we could just understand kitty speak a little better, we could fix those off days.
Go Ripley Go!!!

Re: 5/21 Ripley AMPS 88

Hi Josie, nice green AMPS for little darlin Ripley! I'm glad she's feeling better and yesterday was perhaps just an off kitty day. I know it's worrisome, as I do the same. I bet a day in her rocker would fix everything. :-D Hope your day went well.

Re: 5/21 Ripley AMPS 88, +9 73

I wonder how low she went while I was at work nailbite_smile .
When I got home she was resting on her rocking chair, then got into her testing position ~ she knows the routine  .

Hi, Mary :-D Yes, how I wish she could talk. Or write. Or type. That would be funny if our kitties could write their own condos ~ I bet Ripley would complain about how I don't give her enough freeze-dried shrimp   .

Hi, Ann :-D You know her so well: I have a feeling she did spend the day on her rocker, and she's perky and happy to see me :-D .

Re: 5/21 Ripley PMPS 106

Ripley's appy is good tonight, but there's something going on with one of her front legs. It seems to be giving out when she puts weight on it. Keeping an eye on it. She usually sits when I do her ear tests, but tonight she circled clumsily and finally laid down for her test, then meowed a long meow; but she waited patiently for me to test her. Such a sweet girl. I hope it's nothing and heals quickly, whatever it is.

Thanks for visiting today, Carla! :-D

Re: 5/21 Ripley PMPS 106

Aw, Ripley, what's up with your leg? Hopefully she just tweaked it a little bit when jumping down from some furniture. I'm glad to hear she is otherwise feelin' fine! It' always worrisome when they have off days...it's hard to remember that everyone, including our kitties, can have those days once in awhile.

Have a great evening, guys!

Re: 5/21 Ripley PMPS 106

Woo hoo Ripley, look at that beautiful blue number... Keep surfin sweetie. I hope that it isn't anything serious with her leg, maybe she just landed wrong when she jumped up or down. Hope it feels better in the morning.

Re: 5/21 Ripley PMPS 106

Hi Josie. Glad that Ripley is feeling better today. I hope her leg heals in short time. Maybe she sprained it jumping off of something.

Have a great night Josie.

Ripley is still walking stiffly and unbalanced. I can't really tell which limb is bothering her ~ I thought it was a front leg, but I just watched her walk and her back half seemed stiff and limited in mobility. She's eating off and on (like normal) and currently preening, which is good. Right after receiving her fluids (at+2) she fell over on the couch, and had a hard time getting back upright. She yowled and seemed distressed for a short time, but now is acting fine. It seems to take a while for her to lie down in a comfortable position. My DH touched/felt her all over, and she seemed ok. Maybe a good night's sleep will heal whatever is bothering her...

Thanks for the visits, Amy, Kathie, John, and Rhiannon.
:-D :-D :-D :-D
