Morning All,

So last night i was so exhausted after a long week at work that i tested Leo at +5 and crawled into bed. I was woken up, very rudely i might add by someone yelling at me at 1 in the morning (+7) he ran into the room yelling at me then jumped on the bed and was acting very strange, i tried petting him and he kept flinching and it was almost like he was trying to bite me. So then my super-mom instincts (or so i thought) kicked in and i jumped up and grabbed the meter, lancet and a strip, and tested him and he was 259.....WTH? Then it dawned on me that he was scared, something scared him and that's why he came running in like that.........bad kitty dreams?? A ghost perhaps? :lol:

Well i was surprised by the 189 this morning, i tried not to let it bother me and shot it anyway and went back to bed with the alarms set at +2 and +4, so far Leo has had 2 breffis' with 1 brunch, must be making up for not eating very much yesterday, and is resting on the couch purring at the moment. Life is good!

Anyway i'm off to go visiting other kitties, hope all have a good day!

Very nice Mr. Leo. So glad you've got your Mama trained in "quick response mode". Youz a good boy! Keep up the good work & let your Ma sleep tonight, OK -- ghosts never visit the same place 2-nights in a row! :mrgreen:

Awww, poor little Leo!!! Scared of the boogeyman! His numbers are looking sooo good!!! I know you're going to have some a nice relaxing day with your little man today. He's going to love all the love he's going to get, I'm sure!! :-D

I posted in Champ's condo about my work, but in case you don't see it...I do medical transcription. I get to work at home which was nice when my DD was young, but not so much anymore cuz it's too quiet. I need to get out, make some friends that aren't just the parents of my daughter's friends, and get my own life again... not easy in Las Vegas where most people aren't as nice as me!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Tracy, thanks for stopping by my condo earlier. It looks like Leo is having a nice blue day, only one yellow. Isn't it amazing when our kitties act strange, something is up with their bg. It's also happened with Maggie. Have a nice day for Caturday.

380???? WTH???? Ughhh and i was thinking he wasn't going to bounce today and hoping he would gently come down into some yellows for PMPS.

Oh well i just used my last strip on his +8, and now that i know he's sky-high i don't have to worry about him while i'm gone to Walmart to get some more. That might be the only positive to this STINKUS PINKUS :evil:

I think i deserve a treat today.....hmmmmm i was thinking about just treating myself to an IPAD!!

That's some bounce for Leo. I hate when that happens.

A woman after my own heart! When I bought my Mac, they needed my old laptop and the Mac for at least 24 hours (up to 48) to transfer my files. I bought an iPad because I couldn stand the thought of being without internet. It also turned out they needed the computers for about 8 hours.

It sounded like Leo got spooked last night. Poor Leo. OK Leo....now its time to come back down.

Sienne, Do you totally love your ipad? I had to search and search but i finally found a 32 gig with the 3G. Not the one i really wanted but i settled! I'm just about to take it out of the package and get it set up!!! I feel like a 6 year old girl at Christmas! :lol:

Chocolate, strawberry daquiris, those are my usual treats but it just wasn't cuttin it anymore so i had to step it up a notch today.

Leo was waiting patiently by the door for my arrival back home. No daytime ghosts at my place apparently, they only come out when i'm sleeping! :lol:

Leo, dude...the bouncing thing just ain't cool. You made MamaBean go spend money on herself, rather than you!! I bet, if you don't bounce, there may be a nanner or two in the deal...I'm just sayin'....

Awwwwww thanks Barb, I'll pass along the message to Leo, his head might not be able to fit in his kitty dish but we'll deal with that later. :lol:
Mudslides huh? Can't say I've ever had one, they sound yum.
And yes I treated myself for that horrible bounce, I deserved it :-D ....for the last month and a half it's been cats toys, catnip, cat treats, and cat food!!! I'm sure if Leo had money he woulda bought me and iPad too for all the hard work :lol: :lol:

Good for you for buying yourself a treat! They get treats after testing, we need treats after testing too! I rationalized that because I can't eat chocolate and there are only so many bottles of wine one can buy before you have start attending weekly meetings, I bought a Kindle as a "congratulations you are surviving fd" present. When it arrived frenchie stuck his face in the box, like he dose every box, and then gave me dirty looks when it wasn't cat food. I explained that since we were spending $200 on insulin, which will expire in one month after it's open, this is by far a better deal, since it was only $100 and won't expire one month after being open, will allow me to read "The Art of War" and "Jane Eyre" at the same time, and allow me to maintain my sanity. He still did not think it was as cool as cat food. The explanation may also have been needed for the bf who wondered why he didn't get a toy....
