Yesterday, Featuring Handsome Harvey Snoozing
Another slow start to the day. Harvey ate most of his t/f/s meal, but no go on breakfast, despite three options. Gave him the Ond & Cypro and an hour later he was eating his fourth option! He even went back and ate some of the original breakfast (which is great, because that's where his Cosequin is).
He really seems to like the number 88. So do I!
Maybe it's a sign my driver will win the race tonight! 
He let me use the Zoom Groom on him for some time this morning (normally he moves away after a few strokes). I took enough fur off him to make a kitten!
But I didn't. 
He's otherwise doing well. I thought he might have some pain, but he convinced me otherwise by jumping up on the bathroom counter (we have high counters in our bathrooms), by way of the stool I keep there for him. No issues getting up or down. Sasha used to try to drink out of our water glasses there, so I started keeping a little bowl of water next to them, and that was almost the only place she would drink (except for from the faucet, before her amputation). I never removed the bowl after she crossed, and Harvey started getting up there and drinking from it regularly (he used to do it occasionally). Now it's become a ritual. Several times a day, when I can't find him downstairs, I'll go up and he'll be sitting on the counter, waiting for me to either refill or refresh his little bowl. He likes it best when I hold it for him. Then I pet him and love on him and he purrs and purrs. When he's had enough, he climbs down. Really cute. As long as he can still do that, I won't worry so much about his mobility!
I do watch him go up and down the stairs. He definitely does it more slowly and sometimes more gingerly than before. Once or twice I've noticed it seems very uncomfortable for him, and that's when I bring out the Bupe.
Overcast, cool and very windy here. We've been promised afternoon showers, but so far dry as a bone. I was sure it would rain, since I had my car washed on Thursday!
