bit o kitter puke this am.

sometimes this happens when he gets too warm on the brink of and during summer, or what i think happened- he didn't like the bf's cooking.

doesn't seemed to have caused any ripple in his #s and he's eating just fine this morning and hunting his favorite and most unattainable prey- cereal milk.

small snack @ +6 to keep his numbers up.

he seems to no longer like soup- water in his food, so i'm not sure what his feelings on catsicles will be since they are like the kitty version of an otter pop.

if he passes on those, we may need to get creative with snacks when we aren't here. he seems to need just a small boost later in his day. he does have an auto feeder, but it doesn't have a way to keep food chilled, though i may be able to figure one out if I kind of hack something together, maybe clip a small reusable ice cube to the lid or to the top of the chamber.

upon disgusting closer inspection, freeze dried chicken treats appear to be the culprit.

he's eating just fine now, but i think treats caused an upset tummy, and yak. i know the greenies are hc, but they do seem to be the only treat he can take more than 2-3 of without getting sick (nails were trimmed today, which requires bribery). we've seen this happen a couple times pre diabetes- more than a couple treats of a certain kind- pukey kitty. greenies do seem to be the exception to the rule for this little one. we are able to break them up so he gets multiple "treats" from one treat.

he's eaten and pooped normally otherwise today, and been running and playing like crazy, so i'm not concerned otherwise. we have removed all stray chicken treats from the house to make sure he's keeping everything down.

and we are out of natures miracle.

great numbers, but he puked at +3

i am concerned, but there are things that i'm trying to keep in mind- 1. about a year ago he had a day like this, kitty puke everywhere, around the time that Chicago started heating up 2. treats seem to be showing up in all of them (less in the last round) so i think he's trying to get those out of his system 3. he has eaten, and his numbers are looking good.

i'll keep an eye on him tonight.
 
sounds like what my cats used to do when they ate grass. wander around puking up little piles for me. i LOVE that! :lol:

what about rotisserie chicken for a treat? does he like that?
