70 at 9:30. Will retest at 10:30. Not a clue as to whether to shoot or what. Suggestions?

Didn't get that subject line changed earlier

Re: 5/21 Connor AMPS (70)

hi there

is this 70 your +12 AMPS?
has Conner had food?

are u able to retest sooner than an hour?
and last question, are you home this morning to monitor?

Re: 5/21 Connor AMPS (70)

Ah - that was actually a +10 from last night - I was 2 hours late. Here are the times and doses:

20 May 8:15AM +0 95 3.75
4:00PM +8 68
9:00PM +13 40
10:00PM +14 102
11:20PM +0 1.5
21 May 9:30AM +10 70 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< here's the 70
10:30AM +11 76

He's had food. Any idea about the dose I should shoot? He just had surgery the day before yesterday.

Re: 5/21 Connor AMPS (70)

I automatically give food as soon as I see he's low. Is that not the right thing to do?

Thanks!

BUMP!

normally we dont want to have food on board between +10 and shot time, or you may have a food influenced shot number.

10:30 was your +11 of BG 76, is this your shot time or are u going for +12?

sorry for the delay, Im hoping someone comes along to advise on dose

Re: 5/21 Connor AMPS (70)

I have some access to Libby via Siamese Rescue. She can't get to the board at work I don't think. So I think she might be able to tell me what to shoot.

Thanks for the info on feeding.

Re: 5/21 Connor AMPS (70)

Did a 1.5 at 11:30 - which is +12 from last night. I'm sure Libby will comment when she's able to.

Re: 5/21 Connor AMPS (70)

I think the 1.5 was smart. Normally we wouldn't mess with doses this much, or reduce by that much at once, but his numbers have been wonky (good wonky) since his surgery so we have to play along. It would be nice if he can stay at this dose! But if he does end up needing to go back up, so be it.

Re: 5/21 Connor AMPS (70)

Just got a 103 so will do a 1.5 at 11:30 (right after the Atlas rocket blasts off at Cape Canaveral - we're about 7 miles away!).

Thanks. He seems to be doing pretty well. 6 inch incision. Looks awful but he's really being a trooper. And you couldn't ask for better numbers. Love doing this 1.5 - hope it can last!
