All is fine for Checks today. He was active and feeling good. Ate a few times. is napping now.
Bean's got work to do outside while it's cool and before the rain. I hope it's a nice soft kind, where you want to sit on the porch with a good book.
Tux and Checkers love to sit on the porch and get sprayed with rain. Neither one is bothered by thunder.Weird cats :lol:

BBL to visit condos. :-D

Too fun on the rain sprayed cats - that would be Mannie too. He still ventures out, unless it is really coming down hard. I hear you on the soft rain. good book, on the deck/porch. NICE!

Rain was stop and start. I got some push mowing done, where the tractor couldn't go, the other day.
Now I've got bites from those nasty little gnats....or as they call 'em around here, *no-see-ums* .
They sneak around the back of your head and bite in the hairline and behind the ears. grr_red

Checks predictably started back up at +6. I hope he stops now, while he's still blue... barely :lol:

Awww thank you Marje. Pushing is fine. I don't dare use the string trimmer though, no swinging side to side for me.

I gave Checks a different FF this afternoon. It was Salmon & Shrimp. I wonder if that accounts for the rise in numbers.
That shouldn't have more carbs than his usual Chicken Feast, but neither does Turkey and Giblets, and it raises bg on some cats.
Still, he had a good am cycle.

That was a really nice cycle this morning and you know he will come down again. My favorite sound of summer was always the whirr of the push mower, here however we've eliminated all the lawn. Too much water needed for a semi-desert! Porch and a book w/ a cuddled up cat sounds great too. I miss summer rains!

Yikes...I wish I could say this pmps was from contraband....he'd clear it quicker. :YMSIGH:

I never did get to sit with a book. I found things to do indoors.
Ann, that push mower is electric, and it really does have a nice whirring sound. I don't do gas pull-cords anymore.
