Finally getting Champ's condo started! Yesterday was the ultimate pokethon for the poor dude. I decided to not test last night until I was going to bed and found he had hit the blue floor which I wasn't expecting because his PMPS was so high. So I had to stay up a bit longer to check again, waited two hours and, of course, he decides to throw a green number. Not that I minded, of course, but I still wanted to go to bed so the DD stayed up and tested for a bit longer, complaining the whole time. I sure hope she gets a little more cooperative about all this. Champ actually fought me when I tried to test him last night. I couldn't get him to bleed so I had to poke him multiple times and he kept trying to bite me, arrghhh. It was awful. Then the DD pokes him and gets blood first time. blah.

I can't believe how high Champ's BG rose in three hours...from 136 at 3 a.m. to 385 at 6 a.m. I'm sure it's a bounce, but geez, Champ, it doesn't have to be that impressive! I hope he follows his normal and clears it quickly so we can get back to business.

I have to work today, but I actually don't mind...it's not like I have to leave the house!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!! :-D

Patty, Good afternoon, it's good to hear Champ is still being Champ.. Although quite unexpected, yeah that had to be nice to see green last night.. and oh those bounces they do come out of no where don't they and you have no idea just how high it's gonna go.. I think you're right though, he'll come out of it soon.. Maybe even some blues before evening..

I wanted to thank you for the post on the 19th.. I just want to tell you that i agree with everything you said, and have too, (scary enough), felt pretty much all the emotions that you have felt since joining here and going through the sleepless nights and the not knowing if i'm doing it right..and OMG.. the tears... today is a reminder of the tears!!

Wow hey....our little farts love to keep us on our toes don't they? I just love it when Leo drops 300 points on me in the span of 2-3 hours. I'm hoping this bouncing business is done soon, for both Champ and Leo.

Poor Champers had enough of the testing did he? Did you end up trying to do his other ear? I noticed Leo's ears are looking a little worse for wear, its almost like the fur is starting to turn white on the testing spots. But he really doesn't mind it at all anymore, i just tested him 25 mins ago when he was sleeping and he didn't even open his eyes and just instantly started purring, he really loves the pets and smooches he gets with testing.

Funny about your daughter having the "touch"! Maybe she should test her brother Champ all the time huh?

Poooo for you having to work on Caturday, what kind of work do you do Patty?

The only time Champ doesn't mind testing is when he's got his nose in his nose in his food or he's asleep!!!

I do medical transcription. It's been a good job cuz I got to stay at home with my DD, but now that she's grown...not so much. Too quiet here now and I've pretty much lost contact with most of my friends. I need to get my butt in gear and get out there again!!!

Now I'm on my way to visit Leo's condo and see how he's been! :-D

Hi Patty and Champ,

Looks like some Tigger action going on in this condo today. I hope Champ clears his bounce and gets back down to that blue floor really soon. He needs to keep a nice spot in the sun warm for when Guinness gets there! Have a great day!

at least champ seems to be coming up with a lower nadir, maybe?

if you make that cake i just discovered that poking with a chopstick makes the perfect sized holes. i've tried various things, mostly using a skewer, but the chopsticks are perfect. if it falls apart when we cut it, i'll let you know.

I hate seeing numbers this high, especially after the few great days and all the progress we we're seeing in the last few days. Hope this bounce gets over quickly!!!

The little doofus hasn't left the pink floor all flippin day!!! If he could do this for me tomorrow night, that would be great because I'm supposed to go to a play. You watch, the bounce will break tomorrow and I won't be able to go. As Doris Day would sing, "Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be."

Patty! You should never speak of plans other than kitty pokes in your condo! The kitties read this things, and they know what's going on...you might as well sign off on not going to that play tomorrow right now :lol: !

Seriously, Champ...break that bounce, but let MamaBean go to her play tomorrow!

Remember, Champ has seen some greends lately, and he will do it again. Patience and progress go hand in hand.

Wow...what a flat pink and then boom. He reminds me of someone else I know who liked to take big dives and then race back up at the end of her cycle. So much in common some of these sugarbabies.

I'm sorry Champers bit you and doesn't like his pokeys. Funny about DD....I bet that was a bit frustrating.

Well, looks like Champ broke that bounce by doing a high dive!!! Quite a drop. A guy could hurt himself doing stuff like that. Have a good night, time for me to turn in. I have to answer to a furry boss early in the morning :-D

You thought the dive from PMPS to +3 was big, take a look at this one. Looks like it is going to be a long night. Thank God it's Saturday night and I never have a date. :lol:

I'm going to have to check a +8 because I'm pretty sure this was a food spike. He was so hungry at +6 that he was climbing on counters looking for food. He has NEVER done that.
