My dang computer is broken again! We had it fixed but I guess it is time for a new one. Typing on my phone is so hard. Update on Missy and Simon. They are both sick. Missy seems to have an upper respiratory issue and I think one of her teeth is really bothering her. She also may have some anal gland issues. She is going to vet at shelter today. They handle all pre existing problems. Meanwhile, Simon's appetite has not been great over the last day. No temp but pretty sluggish. I am wondering if he got something from Missy, although they are still separated. Neither cat seems too thrilled with the other, but that is to be expected in the beginning. I am calling Simon's vet today and will try to get him in. All this with working all day!

Please send healing vines out way. I am so worried, especially about Simon. I think Missy will be ok with AB's.

Hi Georgia,
I am so sorry that you are going through all of this right now, at the beginning of their introductory period. Tons of healing vines for Simon and Missy. Try not to worry (too much!). Simon may be depressed because he stlll hasn't accepted the fact of Missy. Missy may indeed have shelter-related bugs and will be fine soon.

The vet at shelter seems to think Missy just has some allergy issues. Lungs sound ok. He says her teeth look ok with no inflammation. No dental needed although I think they may say that so they won't have to do a dental. All services are free if they are pre-existing. He did express her anal glands. No infection noted. He also did a little sanitary shave on her behind. She may feel a little bare!

I am at vet right now with Simon. He ate better today but still not himself. Will update later.
