Last night when PM+2 was about the same as PMPS I was a little nervous that he was going to be hanging out at those higher number. This morning I am so happy to report that Sammy's numbers have come back down again, and I hope that they stay down this time.

We are having so much fun watching the baby birds grow. Look how much they have grown in just 6 days.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I did add in some higher carb food last night. For the most part I have only been feeding 3-5% carb food, but the last time Sammy went OTJ we were feeding 9-10% food. I don't know if that made difference with his numbers today, but I am planning on slowly increasing the new food. I only gave him a bit last night because I need to get him adjusted to the new food. I still plan on keeping the 4-5% food as well, but just brining the other food as ⅓ of the mix. Hopefully this will help to stabilize his BG a bit more.

What a difference 6 days have made they are growing fast. I hope the new food helps keep Sammy Numbers down. Just so hard to know what to do all the time. I guess it's just trial and error.

Lookin' good this morning, Sammy!

The babies are getting so big! Back when I had hanging baskets, we often had nests...it was so cool. I've been too busy these past couple years to maintain the baskets, but hopefully next year...

Yep, Trial & Error and ECID. There are way to many variables to figure out. Hopefully we will get it figured out soon.

I use to have flower pots on my deck also, but they are a lot of work. You have to water them every day and sometimes it gets to be too much. Although I do love having the pots on the deck close to where I am sitting so that I can really enjoy the smell of the flowers. I haven't spent much time on the deck this year because I don't want to disturb the birds, but as soon as they leave the nest I will be back outside enjoying. I might even have to put together a pot or two.

I really miss having the plants - I loved roaming the nursery to pick everything out. But yep, as the summer wore on, maintaining the watering schedule became a challenge. I should have more time next year, since my store will be closed by then.

those chicks are so cute with their fluffy little heads. Hope Sammy continues in green today for you Tina.

We've got loads of flower pots dotted around but luckily (?) it keeps raining so I haven't had to water them too often, but it is a bit of a chore in the summer months.

So far today, I like what I am seeing with Sammy's numbers I hope he surf here right through PMPS. Sammy vomited at +1.75, and I am guessing it was the new food. So I removed that food and exchanged it for Fancy Feast Chunky Turkey Feast 7%. I was trying to avoid the higher phosphorous food, but that is the only food I have that is a bit higher in carbs other than the food we have been feeding Sammy recently. If need be we can always add a phosphorous binder, but I really would like to avoid that if possible.
