Yesterday, mostly blue. Today, started a new cartridge this AM.

5/19 Recap:
AMPS 120 +3.5 313 +9 224
PMPS 179 +4 167 +9 134

I had 55 days on the latest cartridge and it was getting close to the end, so I'm trying a new one this morning. There was only a few days left anyway. Still not seeing as much green as I'd like and too much pink, although I do like the flat blues. Depending on how this goes, there may be a small increase tomorrow.

Same old same old Neko today. There was a little jockeying for position and whacking this morning at test time. She's been in and out to the solarium all morning. Out to the heat, outdoor smells and sunshine, back in to cool off a bit, then back out again. So glad I have a cat door there or I'd be playing me-in, me-out all day long.

Today I'm thinking of Julie and Punkin(ga). It's one year ago today that Julie helped Punkin on his way to the Bridge. Julie was there for me when I first came to LL, our dose kept on increasing and Neko got the same diagnosis of acromegaly. So I followed the Punkin story very closely. We followed in their footsteps, including the trip to Colorado for SRT. Today is for memories and sending huge hugs to Julie. :YMHUG: We miss the big orange guy too.

Re: 5/20 Neko AMPS 152 +3.5 222

Hope the fresh juice gives you some better numbers. Same old same old is a great day. Have a great day Wendy!

Good luck with the new cartridge. I hope it brings more blues and greens. Sending hugs to Julie as she remembers Punkin. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Good luck with the new cartridge. I made the mistake of buying the bottle. Hasn't this weather been nice-unlike some springs where it's so wet and cold. Tiger got outside the past few days, first thing she does is eat grass, and promptly throw up :? Hope all those carbs haven't harmed her...

That's so nice to remember Julie and her sweet Punkin, I got teary eyed reading that story. And it's time to thank all of you for showing us newbies the way!

Hi Wendy,
Neko, keep it blue and throw in some greens. The LagoonMeister is waiting for you to dip your toes into the lagoon.

Punkin was a wonderful kitty. And Julie is terrific to stay on the board and help so many beans. I hope that the crew in the Two Chefs' Kitchen at the Bridge are having a fine anniversary dinner for Punkin.

Have a good evening, Wendy. Thanks for asking about my knee. It is almost normal and doesn't hurt most of the time.

I went ahead and increased Neko a bit, trying to get a bit more green on the SS. Neko just came in from a little stroll outside. She pretty relaxed today. It's perfect chillin' cat weather.

@Melissa, Carla, Ruth, Ella - Thanks for visiting. New juice didn't make much difference, I didn't expect it would so I went ahead and increased. It's been great seeing Julie around again and so nice of her to share her time and knowledge with us again. I'm sure there'll be a fine anniversary dinner at the Bridge tonight. Ruth - I bought the vial the first time too. It was the local pharmacist who told me cartridges would be better value for a kitty.

Some pretty blues there Neko, but time for some greens! Good luck with the dosecrease! That's nice to hear Neko got some strolling outside today. We rented a house for a few years, and then moved to an apartment where we've been for the last few years. I seriously miss having a yard.

I also bought the vial. My vet was so agreeable to us switching to Lantus and letting us basically do dosing adjustments on or own, I didn't want to rock the boat when she said she'd never heard of anyone using the pens before. Figure I'll broach that topic with instructions in hand at our next check in/update.

Have a great night Wendy!
