So, Moses seems to be feeling much better today :mrgreen: We enjoyed sharing the photo yesterday, and reading the many comments. He's feeling way better now, knowing how hunky he is. lol. Although...

*Question - I'm not crazy about these high yellows. He almost hit 300 this morning! :? Could be because of pukus stress yesterday? Two days ago he was green! And almost pink this morning. He's at .25u, do you think it's time for an increase?

It looks like he tends to have more green in the PM cycle. Let's see how tonight, at least goes. I'm sure some others will be by this evening so see what the consensus is. He has been at this dose for a while.

Hmmmm, I'm a touch hesitant.... pls don't take my opinion as Gospel.... wait and see what others think.

Your PM dose was c34 of 0.25. Your range is from 290 to 60s as measured. I don't 'see' gaps where brighter greens would have been missed. Moses overgrew his 0.5 dose with a 34 - which IMO is a clear signal..... your insulin is not too old.... Moses has had more yellows on the 0.25U than any other dose. I'm thinking fat could be added to the 0.25... is that what you were thinking?

It's somewhat known that hairball pukus is full of sugar - not from a taste test - but typically after the hairball comes out, the BG lowers....

I suggest that you change Question for Dose and see if you get more visitors... :-D

A fat .25 does sound nice... any other opinions? (see question from post #1 today :mrgreen: )

Blah, I have a headache. I'll test him in a bit, but then we might have to call it a night.

hmm, I think I would give it through tomorrow before increasing. He had a 63, if you're going to increase on that number then you should do it when you can be around for the first cycle or two. What about the weekend, if he doesn't drop tomorrow?

I just remembered, Moses likes to drop on Friday nights. :lol: Another reason to wait until after that.

Normally I have Saturday's off to watch him. I'm kayaking this Saturday :mrgreen: so excited! So I'll miss some good testing :sad: Hmmm, if I were to do a fat .25u... the next day off off is Wednesday :?

I've been getting out of work at noon lately ... would it be okay to do it on a day I come home at his +6? Might be too late.

Ya, 120 is a good number to go to bed on ... I'll leave my question icon up so if anybody would like add in, feel free :mrgreen: I always check my old posts, just to see. Thank you for your help, Lantus Land, the suggestions were great. I'd hate to wait until Wednesday for a fat .25u, but maybe that's what he needs.
