Chino's weight has gone up each week for the past 3 weeks. This is good, since for a while there, I was feeding high-calorie just to keep him from losing. The shots are easier to give with more subcutaneous fat, but I'm going to have to find a new PM food around 150 kcal before the next auto-ship. (He gets 150 kcal in the morning and what I feed at night is between 192 and 232 kcal, with one rare and expensive 147-kcal exception).

I normally eat standing up in the kitchen where my food is out of sight, but my parents lost power last night so they came over to finish cooking in my kitchen and we ate at the table. Chino was circling the table the whole time and trying to climb into my lap to get to my plate. I still don't know if SRT will be financially possible, but now that I know that the University of Florida (2-3 hours away) does it, I'm looking into it again.

If Chino breaks the bounce tonight, he'll break his record high of 3 green nadirs in 1 week. I hope I'm not jinxing him by saying that, but we're off to a good start so far this morning. :cat:

AMPS = 348
+4 = 289
+8 = 144

He dropped 145 mg/dL in the last 4 hours. While I expect his nadir to occur between the 7th and 9th hour, the next check will be at +10, in case he's still heading down at the same pace.

He just broke his record - 4th green nadir in the same week!

AMPS = 348
+4 = 289
+8 = 144
+10 = 93

Though the rate of the drop had already slowed down a little, I gave 1 tsp MC 15%. Next check at PMPS.

Loving all that greenage lately. :D Of course, the change to day time greens is pretty good to - as long as you don't have to be up at night for work.
